the irony of this is that Perplexity is posting this one 🤣

They call them “ships of doom”. As one country tightens up regulations, the e-waste exporters scour around looking for some weaker, even more “developing” country. When the Global North boasts that it has dematerialized, that it has reduced its CO2 and pollution, know that the waste, toxins, CO2 and a galaxy of other pollutants always rematerialize in poor countries. It’s a magic trick.

    Alright, I've decided to learn the cursed language that is JavaScript. A lot of guides and tutorials are video based, but I learn much better from text-based practical exercises and "learn as you do" experiences.

    remember when trump said if we just stop testing for covid it would go away as if by a miracle and everyone thought that was a scandalously stupid thing to say

    on an entirely unrelated note since 3 weeks ago the CDC no longer requires hospitals to report covid hospitalizations and now biobot is no longer showing covid wastewater data for the US
