Im thinking about in all the ways even streaming now. Im thinking before streaming the stooges would be a good contender. Was shown in movied theaters and had reruns going all the time on so many different channels. Its a wonder life used to be spammed in november and december before the ip was taken back out of public ...
I don't know the answer, but it's funny you mention The (Three) Stooges in this context as that is the only video cassette I remember wearing out from new. It had three shorts (I think) including one where they worked at a laundry.
Never saw a video of The Stooges performing but that would have been cool, too.
Works for me! My boss will sometimes bring in cookies like these, but she calls them breakfast cookies. Very hearty. Maybe I will bring up the cowboy option, from a name standpoint. Either way, these are great 😋 I bring in other things but maybe not as hearty...
Thanks for sharing!

Now that we can use the internet to access almost anything you'd want to see and/or hear, we should make museums that archive different smells. You could find new smells you might have not experienced otherwise, or find some nostalgic smell to bring you back to a moment in your past.
I've used different Linux OSs for 20 years and switched DEs without a thought and without a big install and never had a problem. Seems like one of the advantages, but maybe I am not using the programs you are.
I am happy I don't need google products for anything. I have been using Mailfence for several years and been fine with it. For folks who can leave gmail, there are multiple good options, at least for email.
I like low dialogue movies, and some of those could possibly fit this. Two Lane Blacktop, maybe 2001: A Space Odyssey. The first doesn't have much (any?) music, but the second has a lot so that would be weird, but so would the dialogue.
Country music isn't "waking up," it's just that there are a number of established artists who aren't participating in the mainstream. They have always been there, and there are just as many of them now as there were in 1978. The mainstream of country is the same as any other genre. There are all kinds of Hip Hop artists that didn't get heavy airplay in the 90s because the industry didn't want it, and the country music industry is no different now. So insular. No messages, all money.
Flannel shirt is fine, but flannel pants are pajamas are only for wearing inside. A T-shirt made of jersey material is fine to be worn out, but thin jersey pants are pajamas and should only be worn at home, so says conventional wisdom. ...

What? Have you never seen the Mighty Mighty Bosstones? You can definitely get legitimate (plaid) pants. Probably not flannel not sure that matters here if the pattern is what you have in mind.
If you are not opposed to metal, there are metal bed frames that will be more durable then any wood, but have no character. The one I have is only 12" underneath but there are others. Very utilitarian, tho. No headboard, nothing like that.
I have never plugged a keyboard into my Linux laptop, but it does have a function key to turn the keyboard off. So did my last one. I use a windows laptop for work and that keyboard does not turn off when an external keyboard is plugged in FWIW.
As a renter who has had roommates, my immediate thought was this was between the two bears. Then I thought harder and I think it makes sense, but any roommate folks will probably struggle. Anyway, I just installed a new thermostat and have had pretty reliable heat. No ore battles for me!
This is a memory trip haha! I never had to do this because I had cars with cassette decks, but folks with newer cars (maybe 07 or so?) were doing this. Auto forum days.
I don't think I ever burned a DVD (did rip some), but was making copies of my CDs for use in my car up to about 2010 before I got into the mp3 player game. Then it was just ripping. Still would be ripping, but no longer have a drive for that. That computer ate it a few years ago. I should have been more proactive. Maybe will borrow the one from work that has a Jimmy Buffet disc in it.

I had Lingonaut recommended awhile ago here, but it is in early development and still doesn't support desktop use. It looks like it has apple and android support (maybe? both in alpha I think) but that isn't how I would interact.
Food Lion is a place that, 30 or so years ago, would bleach meat that was past the due date and put it out with a new due date. No source, word of mouth from folks who were employees at the time to me at the time. For whatever that is worth. They have had a different owner for many years now but this is pretty weird to me.
It was pretty clear that this was unique to Food Lion and widespread as a policy. Folks wouldn't buy meet there. This was 25 years ago when I moved to an area that had Food Lion stores and caught static for even shopping there.
My opinion of grocery stores 30 years ago was that they were not, on the whole, sad. They could be, sure, but IMO big chains are worse now than then. Perhaps because they bought all the competition? I've never been a big meat eater, so maybe I noticed the changes elsewhere.
I did not know that, thanks! I'm not especially familiar with Kraftwerk but this song sounds more like 70s era which I guess would include them. I will look into these other Moranis albums.
I should probably check out Kraftwerk, also. I know I ran across them years ago when I learned about Joy Division as a predecessor to New Order, but only remember a song that (I think) was called Radioactivity.
It must have been around this time that my parents got satellite TV, or maybe dialup, but whatever it was provided a DVD with several music videos. I watched that disc once and this is all I remember from it. Maybe because it was played by Muzac a lot at the time.
This is crazy. Did they not attempt to interview administration officials? That's bad. If they did attempt to, they could say they refused to respond. But all we have is this piece of garbage explanation. That's bad.
Their earlier work is what makes their later work better. They have strawberry, or that thing with Ministry, but people really only know Pepper. If a band could be used to be used to describe the vague realities of rock, the Butthole Surfers are it. Punk? No, despite Jello's connection. Hard to describe to "others" and they either like or they don't. Especially now haha.

Because I didn't pay enough attention to the other post with all the updates to really understand the details of how emojis worked (specifically where they go), I just left a rather strange emoji.... Is there a way to remove this? Future update maybe? I accept my mistake but this seems like a good option.
I wonder what show has been played the most.
