Let’s talk tags on clothing. I hate them and they annoy me to no end. And even if I cut them off, the tiny bit remaining always manages to touch me and I hate it.

They do, at least some of them, so i spend about 15 minutes trying to not just cut em off, but cut every individual string that connect them to fabric, so, they have literally no chance to remain, sometime some other but similar method to not damage piece of clothing in question

sudo dd if=~/something.iso of=/dev/sdb (this was thing after which I started using arch, because my kubuntu died and that was me who killed it)
Remember kids, you can never really trust that /dev/sdX is point to same thing you seen last time and that you need this one, better use /dev/disk/by-<anything you prefer i guess>

You still have no sound from screensharing on most meeting/video call platforms (I guess only on discord it sometimes work as intended)
At least you can use pipewire to route sound from app to micro input, but then you will have locked ratio of volume for your micro and app and sometimes it create problems

[SOLVED] can't set up the Hyprshot dir

I'm trying to set the Hyprshot dir to /home/wonderfox/Screenshots so it won't clog up my Pictures folder with screenshots but for some reason it won't work, it keeps saving screenshots to my Pictures dir

I have added export HYPRSHOT_DIR=/home/wonderfox/Screenshots to my .bashrc and env = HYPRSHOT_DIR,/home/wonderfox/Screenshots to my hyprland.conf

what am I doing wrong?

After setting env HYPRSHOT_DIR in config did you restarted hyprland? Because afaik it doesnt change envs when running unlike binds and rules

Most of cryptographic algorithms, i love cryptography, but because of big problems with math anything that not just "encrypt this with key X, decrypt this with key X" amazes me, because how, HOW YOU INVENTED SUCH A THING?

In bash, zsh, tcsh and other modern / shells, you can use the [TAB] key to autocomplete filenames.

  1. If there are multiple possibilities, pressing [TAB] will display a list of matching files.

  2. If there's only one option, pressing [TAB] will complete the filename for you.

Very handy to save time and typing. Try it out.
