Alpha Warlock's Kala West Series 2-3 of 5 by Auirella Skye
[Reverse Harem, Modern Fantasy, Erotica(?)]
2: 11 chapts approx 1.5 hours to read. 3: 14 chapters 1.7 hours to read
DNF either - Book 2, skimmed last 2 chapts, and last 4 chapts in book 3 Because it was just bad (in my opinion) porn. Scenes, suspiciously almost an exact template of book 1
Do not recommend. Books 2 and 3 = book 1 , just with more chapters
Photograph of a partially unfurled roll of Christmas Wrapping Paper. The paper features repeated images of a Cartoon Santa face. Some are wearing sunglasses, some are Caucasian, some are Black.
A bunch of my art friends all reposted some stuff about "Yuify" , apparently it creates a "digital signature" that helps you track unauthorized used of your art, including AI training.
That promise sounded 1. Weird 2. A bit like NFTs and well...
If they had a paper on the technical details on why/how it works (like Glaze/NS have) I'd be willing to trust them more, but as far as I see, it's just a bait to get you to sign up (yeah you need an account)
Screenshot of a website. The header is "Wacom Yuify" and the content is yapping about Blockchain and managing licenses
Following your gut reactions towards corporate data harvesting and retention is the ONLY way to react in light of ...

I used to have a jack-o-lantern deco I put my front door for Halloween. One year, after seeing my deco, a neighbor told me Halloween is the Devil's holiday.
Me: No it's not, and I like Halloween.
Them: Then you're going to hell.
Me: I don't believe in hell, so, again, no.
Them: You're a pagan.
Me: You're confusing "pagan" with "heathen."
They huffed at me, and left. Afterwards, I smiled and waved whenever I saw them.
Dress up! Get treats! Have fun! Stay weird! 🧟♀️ 👻 🧛♀️ ✌🏾
Eight chibis, 3 per row except the last one that has one large and one small. First one points a finger up, second looks sighing, third is making a happy jump, fourth is smug, fifth has a knife, sixth holds an inverted cross with a shocked face, seventh is thoughtful in front of a guillotine and last one sips a giant cup of green tea with an eyeball in it.
" The White House operates under a unique exemption from standard historic preservation rules. ..the White House is exempt from the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, which typically governs historic preservation for significant buildings and sites. This exemption extends to other landmark structures and their grounds in Washington, D.C., allowing the White House to "skirt formal review processes for major alterations "
PopMart - who make Labubu's - stock is apparently nosediving and there are three main reasons.
1: 'Hype' products always exists in a 'Style' bubble.
2: Unlike Say Sanrio or Disney IP - there is no wider lore/storytelling narrative associated with #Labubu. At least none that majority of consumers know and/or care about
3: The Chinese Govt recently put out official material saying that Good Citizens don't gamble and Buying Blind Box Toys is the same as Gambling. 👀
If he Retires - whatever form that takes - in 2026 / 2027 then Kevin #Feige would have orchestrated the #MCU (mostly successfully) for TWENTY YEARS.
He deserves a bit of a rest yesh?
Let the man go lie down ! 🤣
From the outside it looks like Feige's best skill is hiring Other People who are the Best at what they do - and then, crucially letting them get on with doing that Thing mostly unhindered.
And it's a very difficult, often deemed invisible (and I'd imagine exhausting) skill.
Hand #sewing mockup of a pair of #BJD#Doll trousers (yes I mockup doll clothes because I wasn't sure I really understood pattern directions) can you spot my Massive mistake ?
Because I sure didn't untill I had already sewn the channel for the waist elastic
I ain't unpicking it either because that's what mockups are for - learnin.
🙃

"Logitech will brick its $100 Pop smart home buttons on October 15 [2025]
Logitech's interest in the 'Smart Home' has appeared to wane in recent years." - ArsTechnica
I just don't understand, in an age when customer trust is so scarce, and fragile - companies do seem to love torching it by remotely 'brickin' perfectly functional 'Smart' hardware ..
I generally don't buy viral products - I actively avoid them
BUT I just saw a video of someone putting an entire pint of ice cream into one and. 👀 *
[* I joke. I already have plenty of thermos and thermos type cups, plus sipping ice cream like soup sounds like a good idea but .. Welp it's not a healthy option at all ]
My #GratefulForYou goes out to y'all - especially my mutals - whose creativity & positivity never fail to uplift, inspire, calm, amuse, and edutain me ❤️ 💜💙💖
I'm choosing not to call out any ~ specific usernames ~ because I know that being perceived can set off all sorts of nasty buzzing in the average Neurospicy brainpan.
Even though NONE y'all are 'average', what with being Neurospicy and all - instead you are all just quietly fantastic.
Oh god I just had to watch a 40 min presentation by a "teamfluencer" full of corporate ai images and cursed diagrams like this???
Diagram that is oddly butthole-shaped, four weird squishy quadrants labeled "Complex", "Complicated", "Chaotic", "Clear", and the little center thing is labeled "conusion" and there's a strange squiggly line at the bottom that does not seem to have any purpose.
The font choices, the highlight colours, the jargon, the lack of understanding what a venn even is, the entire diagram plus IT STRAIGHT UP LOOKS LIKE A BUTTHOLE.
I consider myself tech savy but whenever i have to do any sort of file management on any mobile device I just feel like a tech-illiterate dumdum who's probably never seen a file system before, please tell me I'm not the only one
@doomofthedesert I empathise and feel your pain and frustration, unfortunately it's the current Tech landscape and I don't think that is going to change anytime soon.
@kenSwinson as long as you aren't looking for anything too current you can limit search by date to be before 2018/2019 - that works on text and AI Slop authored things but not necessarily images
Popcorn are organic shapes as infinite as a snowflakes.
It's fine to use references!.
Human memory doesn't work the way we think it does - even finely honed artist memory !
There was even a research study done on why (non artists) never ever draw a bicycle that you could actually ride, even bike mechanics don't (initially) draw it correctly !
How do you feel about negative book reviews on social media? I’ve definitely read books that make me want to rant a lot, but i’m never sure if it’s a good idea to sort of ‘ name and shame’…
@lunaleinbookstodon group When I feel the urge to write a negative review I'm always careful to state what didn't work for me, because one person's Trash is Another's Treasure.
I steer clear of Absolutes unless it's something objective like book being full of typos, or missing /misprinted chapters or with physical books poor quality paper/binding.
Some tropes/topics I bounce right off of & other readers think 'gimmie'. It's not name & shame as long as you dont make it a personal attack
@vkc Q&A question: aside from your good self - what other YouTubers / blogs /resources would you recommend for someone wanting to elevate themselves into a KDE and /or Debian Power User ?
Currently using KDE Plasma and feel like there is so much I know, that I don't know!
