I have more than one hobby, prefer trying multiple careers and interests to see which one I'm comfortable with instead of settling for the one I think will be the most stable, and am generally accepting and tolerant of everyone as long as they are not too insensitive, prone to perceiving slights readily beyond what is reasonable, or malicious.

I have a tendency to sound direct and blunt to the point where people think I'm insulting them, but honestly, I used to be so much worse back then. I've changed for the better now, and am open to advice on self-improvement regarding my actions. If I have said anything that has resulted in your offense and willingness to block/mute me, know that my intent is never to hurt or mess with anyone and that I was probably having an off day.
I add #ContentWarnings to any sensitive posts, including those that contain profanity and innuendos. Please do the same when replying to me. I see too many images with or without alt text that contain explicit language because the language in question is not present in the alt text, resulting in said language being shown anyway, and not allowing my filters to catch those posts. I rely on filters to hide sensitive posts. Please do not engage with me if you resist and dislike the idea of being considerate of and accommodating my sensitivities. We all have our own sensitivities to some extent, otherwise we wouldn't be muting/blocking people for not being mindful of them.
I originally did want to become a welder and even got a Welding Technology associate's degree, but for health reasons (compression neuropathy, neuralgia) and realizing up until now that I have an actual genuine fear/repulsion of loud car horns specifically (although the sounds made while welding doesn't upset me as much) combined with a heightened sensitivity to sound in general (the other four senses seem to be left intact) and the fact that a driver's license is required for most trades careers, people mostly ignoring me in school except my professors, etc., I actually grew to no longer want to become a professional welder. I am not officially diagnosed with any health condition as of this time of writing because most doctors misunderstand me.
I do not have an interest in IT/programming as a career/service at this time.
I do sometimes use :fedora: #Fedora or other :linux: #Linux operating systems in a live environment on a bootable USB drive. However some of the software I use requires Windows 11, so I'm stuck with Windows (but I use https://privacy.sexy so it should be fine for now). I would preferably want one desktop computer with Windows and one laptop with any Linux OS I prefer, if I could afford it.
I am aware of current events and the world going on around me even if I don't talk about it.
My interests:
✔️ All styles of #art, although I gravitate towards #ContemporaryArt and modern #DigitalArt. For the record, I like nonrepresentational art better than other types of art now. I used to be into various cartoon styles. I do like photography but I tend to find a lot of it to be overly repetitive depending on the subject.
✔️ All kinds of #music, as long as it's appealing to me and regardless of whether it's mainstream or not. Preferably instrumental, with consistent volumes, with varying levels of experimentation and variety.
✔️ Clinical and abnormal #psychology (NOT pop psychology)
✔️ #HerbalRemedies
✔️ #WebDesign (I've gotten into it more recently) (as a hobby, not a career or service)
✔️ Mostly #academic#nonfiction regarding psychology, languages, music, etc.
✔️ #Walking and #hiking through trails (though in the city I can't do much of that)
✔️ Going to various international supermarkets/convenience stores to try foreign #food and #cuisine (which I don't do as often anymore due to budget constraints)
At some point I will update other things of mine to the latest version.

Hello everyone! My name is Cam R. but I also go by the username “untilted” on mastodon.art and social.lol (you may know me on those Mastodon instances).
But, what does the word “untilted” mean?
Well, according to Wiktionary, “tilt” is defined as a transitive word, meaning:
(quote) To slope or incline (something); to slant.
“Tilted” is the simple past (tense of a verb referring to an event that has already happened) and past participle (referring to an event that has already happened, but also a verb that may function as an adjective or noun) form. Thus, un- + tilted means that which is not tilted/sloped/slanted.
“Untilted” is my username, and also the name of a comic strip I am doing. I have other projects too but the one I am really focused on these days is “Untilted”, which is about a solitary nomad who goes on adventures and meets new beings along the way. It utilizes a combination of cartoon, abstract, and sometimes realism styles. The medium is generally a blend of both traditional and digital styles, but lately I have been going mostly (sometimes completely) digital these days because I find that I can easily control details of my artwork, whereas with traditional, I have to do a lot of heavy editing, and I am known for doing things quite slowly. Nevertheless, I do not use any artificial intelligence in my artwork, nor do I train any imagery with it.
Re #introduction since it's been a month and I barely interact with anyone
