Building homes is one of the most human activities I can think of

Some old are rare enough for them to become monuments, for us to protect them with fences and keep a distance

I fear though that it won't be until we build homes in trees that we will manage to care for them

If gets imprinted in our memory, perhaps our oldest homes, those our ancestors kept living in, can still feel familiar even though it's been a long time since we come back
