My birthday was more than a week ago and I didn't get around to photographing everything until today! Here's #Transformers Legacy Generation 2 Breakdown. I'll never own the original toy this deco is based on as it's extraordinarily rare, but this makes for a pretty good substitute.
#Transformers Titan Changers Wheeljack: a great big honkin' sports car that I'm tempted to create some custom decals for to bring out his inner beauty (those unpainted windows badly need help). Surprisingly good transformation. The conjoined legs/feet are perhaps a little TOO Generation 1-esque...
#Transformers Classic Heroes Team Megatron. Extremely fun to mess around with, he has a sort-of automorph transformation where the head pops up or down as you switch between robot and drill tank modes by folding and unfolding. A phenomenal stim toy 👍
#Transformers Authentics bravo class Elita-1. Robot mode has a crisp, detailed head sculpt for a toy of this size (despite the pointy hoodie thing stuck to the back of it) but otherwise is... not the best. Car mode's much cooler, like a cross between the G1.5 Stormtroopers and Pink Panther's car
Can't believe that these are real (and that it took 42 years for someone to do it) - #Transformers soft drinks! Optimus Primeberry and Decepticherry flavours. I've only tried the 'Con one so far. Happy to confirm it's pinky-purple ENERGON COLOURED, holy cow they did EVERYTHING RIGHT with these
A colourful chill isometric drawing. hand drawn and coloured. Optimus is chilling, sitting behind a barn in a farmland. looking at the birds that just landed on his arm. It’s a nice summer sunset.
A reproduction of “The Creation of Adam” from Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel paintings using Orion Pax to replace Adam, reclining on his side on some rocks to the left side, and the thirteen Primes to replace God and the angels, floating atop a cloud to the right and reaching out toward Orion’s hand. A silver, glowing Matrix of Leadership floats between their hands. Posted by user Zodiac1968340 to the TFW2005 boards.
Mirage is another Masterpiece figure Takara never got around to licensing, so I went with the toon-accurate third party option here. Ocular Max Sphinx is heavy on the die-cast parts and has too many sliding parts during transformation for my liking, but there’s no question he looks great on a shelf.
Brrr... new introduction time cause my old one is already outdated lol.
I am Sinclair-Speccy, your local resident computer nerd that can’t actually do a lot of tech stuff like people think. My primary interests are #Linux, #OldTech, and #OStan. You’ll usually find me boosting retro tech content and occasionally posting it myself, mostly retro tech ads.
My interest in emulation all started when I managed to run Yggdrasil Linux from the '90s (I know, so interesting /s). Despite having used XP as my first OS other older OSes (mostly Linux ones) interest me more if you look at the media I've posted on my account besides the tech ads.
I’ve moved around a bit online as I started on .art as my friend was there, then bitbang.social and now oldbytes.space.
One of my favourite niche fandoms is OS-tans which is turning operating systems and hardware into anime characters, though I tend to call them tech gijinkas. I even have my own tech gijinkas universe that is hosted on my site.
People wanting to build #Datacenters focus to much on #Energy#generation, and even then ignore #solarFarms. But the lack of infrastructure beyond just transmission lines has made some data centers useless. Transformers such as this are required. Suppliers and supplies are not cheap or abundant. #transformers#electricity
Finally Craftsman Toys Tacticlord is complete. A stylized take on Computron, and he's pretty good overall. Just a few small things that hurt it a bit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyIZsLGODWE
