A vibrant tropical scene with palm trees silhouetted against a warm stained glass sunset sky, reflected beautifully in the calm water of the lake below. I used a stained glass style, creating a mosaic effect that adds to the visual appeal of the setting sun over the peaceful lake and whole landscape. This is one of my palm designs I hand stitched as part of a series. With this piece I wanted a mix of warm and cool colours to make it stand out.

I’m working on a retro range of different designs and the palm series is the first in the range. Framing is next for these!

This palm design I stitched in pastel colours to give a faded summer style to it. The colours in this really meld into each other.

This is my palm design done in cool hues. I wanted to take a design and then put it in different shades to see how it’d turn out, this is one of my favs!

I’ve been working on my retro range and have my palm series all mounted after being washed and pressed. Next to do is framing!
