Impressia for Pixelfed(支持国区/美区)

Encrypted direct messages supply the confidence that people need to connect with family, friends and colleagues privately over a social network. As part of the Summer of Protocols 2024, we explore the integration of end-to-end encryption (E2EE) into the ActivityPub protocol. We conduct a review of encryption protocols and integration architectures, and selected Messaging Layer Security (MLS). We also considered the user experience, ensuring that key management, message archiving, and the handling of mixed encrypted and unencrypted messages would be intuitive and user-friendly.
Deliverables
Proposed integration of Messaging Layer Security (MLS) into ActivityPub
User interface specification for a reference implementation
Software architecture for a reference implementation
@raucao It is also not a part of the official Mastodon Roadmap even though there are some open issues in the GitHub repository concerning E2EE.
I personally hope that it will get integrated into ActivityPub and/or Mastodon but for 2026 and 2027 I do not see any signs that there is anything remotely close to being published.

OP is here. I do not know why, but now several times Pass remembered my settings. I suspect that I have used password for the 1st time to login Pass app, before I remember only scanning a QR code from my other device. Maybe that prevented the issue described in leading original post.
Oh yay, would you look at that, another “use” for AI: looks like at least my repos on
@Codeberg are getting hit by a deluge of AI-generated issue spam.
Imagine the kind of sad, meaningless life you must have to attack free and open source projects on a community owned and operated source forge.
So it does look like the TypeScript language server has a limit of 4MB source size where it disables type checking (and actually shows an erroneous error stating that exports that exist in the file do not exist) for files that are imported but not open in the current workspace/session.
Still not sure if this is documented anywhere or not (haven’t been able to find it, if it is).
99.99999% of the time, unless you’re doing niche stuff like I am, you won’t run into this.
Workaround: should you have such a large file, e.g., with a large generated object, try and refactor to split it up into multiple files and rejoin it a separate file. The actual object size/memory usage isn’t the issue, it’s the file size.
@protonprivacy I have this weird display error in Proton Mail web, where the Linkedin avatar get's squeezed. Does anybody know what the issue could be? First pic is from web - second pic is from Thunderbird. #protonmail#proton#thunderbird#issue
