To my fellow Generative Artists, who are frustrated with the big AI-tech-bro companies taking over the term "generative":

I've reworked the artist statement I put up at in-person shows. I now use the term "Procedural" instead of "Generative".

It works! People get it! They appreciate it! And they ask great questions now.

So, if you're doing a show, and you want to try it out...try using "Procedural" in your statements.

Many tiny particles connected by lines move at very high speed between different constellations - based on the soundtrack - that sometimes are reminiscent of technoid spiderwebs. Color spectrum ranges from white to orange and blue on a black background.

I did this while I was breaking apart the lines in the original material into their own segment of the shader, so I could enable/disable them however I like.
