Little wood engraving carved for a friend's very loved whippet Colin who left our world this week, now flying amongst the stars. Hoping to print from it in a few days.
Small wood block held in a hand with an engraving tool. The surface is stained black so the carved bits show up wood coloured, it depicts a whippet in his collared coat, harness and collar, with constellations around him.
A six colour screenprint called Weathering the Storm. It is in yellow, blue, three greys and white. It shows a fisherman and his daughter either side of driftwood, holding onto that driftwood which is also tied by yellow rope. Behind them is an abstract harbour.
My screenprint of Dartmoor in yellow, green, blue and grey. Commissioned by Dartmoor National Park. It features windswept trees, sheep, ponies, standing stones, a stone wall, an old stone bridge, Haytor and gorse.
Hi #fediverse, I'm stuck.media and happy to be here - the place for knowledgeable malcontents, people of action & passion who thrive without the corporate teat.
A photo of several stickers against a white background. The design is the words: "fuck musk" in thick, bold capital sans-serifs. A thick red bar fills the space above and below the words.
Happy Groundhog Day! I am a fan of the absurdity of weather prognosticating rodents and celebrate Groundhog Day with my thermochromic linocut. The shadow is visible if the ambient temperature is <30°C and disappears when >30°C (and it’s a safe bet winter is over or you are overheating your home. So I argue my print is as dependable as any celebrity rodent! The reaction is reversible so 🧵
Two side by side images of my standing groundhog with shadow thermochromic print on 12” x 12” white washi paper. The groundhog stands on its hind legs. It’s brown with black paws. On the left the shadows is colourless but on the right it is blue, because the print on the left has been heated above 30°C
Day 24: Goth Moth
My favourite goth moth - Mothman! Reading horror naturally. A little bookmark design but was a bit rushed today so might have to recarve this as a little off for my liking!
