Was ich am #PrixTransparence mag: Nicht nur dass unsere WAV Recherchekollektiv und Republik Magazin-Recherchen zu #Palantir nominiert sind 😉 .
Sondern dass die nominierten Stories- in jedem Jahr- einfach immer sehr sehr gut sind.
Ob es um #PFAS, Anerkennung von Palästina durch das EDA (Gutachten, das nicht kommuniziert wird), Incel-Terrorismus geht, fehlende Schutzkonzepte in Casinos, die zum Ruin einer Frau führen oder Schweizer Finanzierung von fragwürdigen Lagern in Samos. Es sind hochrelevante Geschichten mit Impact und bei der dank des #BGÖ-Gesetzes üble Missstände aufgedeckt werden können. Natürlich ergänzt um eigene Recherchen mit Quellen etc. Jede einzelne Story würde diesen Preis verdienen.
Ausserdem ist ein Preis, bei dem man seine Texte nicht selber einreichen muss, sondern nominiert wird. Noch mehr Ehre, weil eine Fachjury somit selber aufmerksam wird auf diese Geschichten.

¹ PFAS werden unter anderem zur Beschichtung von Verpackungen, Outdoorbekleidung oder Pfannen eingesetzt. Das größte Problem ist, dass diese Stoffe in der Umwelt praktisch nicht abgebaut werden und sich daher immer weiter anreichern.
