🌳 Lonely, windswept trees existing on the harsh rocky outcrops of the Yorkshire Dales limestones. There is something evocative about these gnarly trees, symbolising nature's resilience and the idea that life always finds a way. The images were captured using a 1970s 35mm camera and Kodak Gold film.
An old control room at a wind tunnel research facility, England. Sadly, this building was demolished last year. Photo captured on my 1970s 35mm camera on Kodak Gold film.
Color photograph of an attic window in the Palais Carli in Marseille. Through the window, you can see the roofs of the surrounding houses. The window itself is old and dirty. The window frame is almost completely black due to the strong contrast, and below the window, the white surface of the radiator stands out with its striking shape.

Between historic rooms, long corridors and quiet garden benches, you can feel the calm rhythm of rural life from more than a century ago. The warm sunlight, wooden textures, and silence of these places remind us how slow and simple life once was.
A cozy indoor seating area in a traditional Austrian house. Sunlight streams through tall wooden windows, lighting up wooden tables and chairs arranged neatly in rows. Small vases with dried flowers and wooden boxes with postcards decorate the tables, creating a warm and nostalgic mood.

The village features many typical Weinviertel front gardens, famous for their abundance of blossoms and colors. Between old wooden fences and whitewashed houses, these flower gardens show the region’s love for detail and tradition.
A colorful front garden filled with bright yellow and orange dahlias and pink roses in bloom. Behind the flowers stands an old white house with a small window. Sunlight hits the blossoms from the side, while the background of trees and a wooden fence fades softly into blur.
Color photograph of Vienna's Ringturm, which is artistically covered every year during the summer months. In 2025, it is covered by Polish artist Marcin Maciejowski and his artwork "Verbindende Geschichten" in engl. somewhat like “Connecting Stories.”
“While the domestic bookcase can be seen on the side facing the Danube Canal, the back reads ‘This book will not only become my story, but also yours’ in German and Polish. With this, Maciejowski wants to describe the moment when an idea is transferred from one person to the next.” (Source: https://group.vig/nachhaltigkeit/unsere-projekte/ringturmverhuellung/)
Loaded up the camera with film and am headed to a trail. This will be my very first time shooting film. I hope I can get at least one passable photo on this roll. Wish me luck🤞
A little upset that the film lab had an issue that messed up the color but some of them look cooler like that honestly. But it would have been nice to be able to do the editing myself lol.
A monochromatic image of a fire escape draping down the side of a building. The scene is stark darks and harsh lines, and a bright grey sky reflects in the windows
