Part 3 of 3, of a long illustration I painted on paper today. Please visit my profile to see all three illustrations next to each other, since it's a triptych, or flick through to see the whole thing at once.
By far, my favorite illustrations I like to do are the Christmas-y and winter-y in general. There's such a cozy feeling around Christmas, I love it. This was painted with watercolors.
The Garden Pig / Pig Art by Lisa S Baker. A pig adorned with a floral crown gazes peacefully as a small bird perches on its snout. The delicate arrangement of flowers adds a whimsical touch to the scene.
That's why I write #SpeculativeFiction things are always right if I'm making everything up 😜😂
Also, did you know to create a fictional world from scratch you have to start with creating the #Multiverse? At least that's what I've been told... 😅
Illustration of an English-style garden with lots of flowers, trees, and bushes and a red brick wall. There's a cottage in the background and potting shed on the left. A calico cat and orange tabby in Victorian clothing sit on a bench, ready to read a book together.
I did some experiments with dry on dry gouache and I'm amazed how it works out. It looks like an oil pastel painting! I guess I wasnt aware of how versatile this medium is.
Painting of a still life with apples and pears. It's painted with gouache. Objects have a rough surface. It's mostly painted with sepia colors. There is a red tomato on the right.

Illustration of a large tree, and the viewer can see inside it into a charming home that fills the trunk of the tree. There are little doors and windows everywhere, and you can see every room in the house.
Illustration set in a cozy Victorian cottage kitchen/living space. A cat sits on the ground by the hearth, reading a book. Another cat sits in a nearby rocking chair, knitting a blanket.
