Kirsten and Jesse met while playing an onscreen couple in the FX series Fargo in 2014. They became a real-life couple in 2016.

Jesse popped the question in 2017 and they welcomed their first child, son Ennis, five, the following year.

Kirsten gave birth to their second son James, two, in 2021.

The couple finally tied the knot in Jamaica in 2022.

Last month, Kirsten gushed over hers and Jesse's romantic and creative connection.

'Because we fell in love on a set, we fell in love creatively first. I think we'll always come back to that, in a very not-involving-our-real-life way,' she told Marie Claire.

They played a couple again in Jane Campion's acclaimed gay western The Power Of The Dog (2021), which netted Oscar nominations for both Jesse and Kirsten.

In spite of the professional connection the share, Kirsten revealed that 'we don't talk to each other on set' and they leave each other 'alone.'

Notwithstanding, the Marie Antoinette actress gushed: 'I love working with him. What's nice is that we trust each other so much.'

She recalled: 'He sent me a scene last night of this miniseries he's working on to get my opinion.

'If I'm having a hard time deciding on something, I'll have him read it. I trust his opinion more than anyone, and he cares about me more than anyone.'

Kirsten teased with a laugh that she and Jesse 'hate the same things,' though she declined to provide any details to the public.

'We kind of fell in love creatively first and fell in love as actors,' Kirsten previously said on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, adding her partner was her 'favourite actor.'

Speaking of Jesse, Kirsten told the New York Times: 'My first impression was, "Oh, he’s like me." We were two people who worked very similarly, and it felt like a soulmate.'

'I knew he would be in my life forever,' she said. 'It was one of those connections where you just know.

'But we’re also very respectful people and were mindful of the fact that we were working together intensely.'

Jesse also had the same feeling. Speaking with the NY Times, he said: 'I knew that she would be in my life for a long time.'

Jesse also spoke glowingly about Kirsten at at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2019.

'I don't often remember every detail about meeting someone … Immediately, without too many words being exchanged, I looked into her eyes and saw the beautiful, sweet, unguarded, welcoming human being that she is,' he said.
