Pop singer Anne-Marie has revealed the very unusual name of her second child with husband and fellow musician Slowthai in May.

The chart-topper, who is best known for hits including Rockabye and Ciao Adios, took to This Morning's sofa on Tuesday to open up on her new single, DEPRESSED, and motherhood.

Ben and Cat then quizzed Anne-Marie, 34, on the baby shower that she'd had thrown by Capital Radio in April, where she teased the baby's name.

But when she revealed the unique moniker to those around her, it was blurred out - as pointed out by Cat, who was keen to know what name she'd settled on.

'Do you want to know?' Anne-Marie asked, before revealing she'd named her son 'Forever Sugar'.

The pop sensation revealed her grandmother 'always signed cards' with the words 'forever and always', something her 'mum and sister continued to do' which inspired her to name her son Forever.

When Cat, 48, asked whether it was a surprise to have welcomed two children in a short time, Anne-Marie admitted her second pregnancy was 'not planned'.

Nonetheless, she was full of admiration for her young son, as a photo of the baby was shown to audiences at home, with his face turned away from the camera.

Cat and Ben gushed over the 'cool' name choice, but viewers watching at home were divided by the choice, and of the name of her one-year-old daughter, Seven.

Taking to X, one commented: 'Forever? Poor little kid,' while a second chimed in: 'Forever Sugar. Well, he'll be changing his name by deed poll as soon as he's old enough.'

A third agreed: 'Got to feel [for] them kids. Come here Seven, come here Forever... just ridiculous,' as a fourth wrote: 'Calling your kid Forever Sugar is definitely going to get its head flushed down the bog at school.'

She released the single last month after some extended time off, having given birth to daughter Seven in February 2024, and welcoming her son just over a year later in May 2025.

Admitting she had been nervous about the reception of the song after taking a step back from the limelight to focus on motherhood, she went on to discuss the birth of her second child with hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard

Anne-Marie welcomed her second child in May, announcing the news with a series of sweet photos of their new addition lying in a hospital cot covered with a blanket.

The singer included a snap of her holding the tot’s finger, her baby dressed in a bear-motif babygro, and the newborn lying in his hospital cot covered with a bear-print blanket.

She wrote: 'Another beautiful little thing has entered our lives. Hello everyone.'

While appearing on Capital ahead of the birth, Anne-Marie revealed she would be 'done' after her second baby as she will have both a girl and a boy.

She joked that the hardest part was deciding on a name for her song, saying: 'Probably choosing a name because Seven is so unique so we can't just call him Barry'.

Anne-Marie's second pregnancy came after a difficult year between her and husband Slowthai, real name Tyron Kaymone Frampton.

The star announced the happy news just a short time after Tyron, 30, was acquitted of the rape of two women.

He was seen breaking down in tears as he and his co-accused Alex Blake-Walker, 27, were cleared of the allegations stemming from a 2021 gig in Oxford.

In court, the jury returned the verdicts after ten hours of deliberation following the two-week trial during, in which two defendants alleged they had been assaulted on September 8, 2021.

It was alleged that after Slowthai had performed at The Bullingdon music venue in Oxford on the evening of September 7, 2021, he met the two women and went along with them to a friend's house party alongside Blake-Walker.

The two women claimed they had been raped on the roof of the property - just Frampton was defiant the claims were 'not true' and the women were 'lying'.

Following the news, Anne-Marie opened up on the 'hardest year yet' and told fans 'God was trying to see how strong she was' as she appeared to address the allegations in an Instagram post.
