Tyche [SSTL]

Project Tyche for UK Space Command is the first satellite procurement for the MINERVA programme, which is a critical enabler in the building of the foundation for a UK Space-based Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) constellation under the ISTARI program.

SSTL is creating a 150kg satellite based on its Carbonite+ technology. Tyche features the high-resolution optical payload delivering sub-1m GSD imagery with an Inter-Satellite Link and onboard processing capability.

Launch took place in August 2024.
