Weird question, why are there gendered sports divisions, can’t it all be like light weight, medium weight…
Just make the sports as inclusive as possible. Maybe if there is really a statistically significant advantage the different divisions might be gendered but it has to be proven that it is excluding people.
At face value the whole trans athletes thing being problematic is pretty stupid to begin with.
I mean people from the Netherlands tend to be taller than Belgians (or so the stereotype goes). Ok, so are we gonna disqualify anyone north from the border to participate south?

Unfortunately does not work that way. Example you put a man that weighs 120 lbs against a women that weighs the same or even more in a wrestling match. The man will most likely wax the floor on her because of men’s muscle mass is greater then a females. Girls have more fatty tissue because you know boobs and babies needs. Men’s bodies carry more muscle tissue.
Even in more gender neutral sports like tennis and golf a man is gonna hit harder, faster and longer than a lady. Lady’s tees exist for a reason.
Some of it is also physics of men being taller and having a longer swing. Why someone in the NHL will probably never beat Zdeno Chára‘a slap shot speed record. Not many people playing hockey that are almost 7 feet tall. That’s lumber is taller then most people

While there is absolutely biological basis for separate leagues in some cases (hormones have a huge impact on your ability to build muscle mass) if I’m not mistaken there actually are cases historically where leagues that used to include men and women were separated because of sexism and men’s discomfort with loosing to women

I think the problem here is that we don’t acknowledge how broad the variation is among cis populations - even if our intuition or the conventional wisdom is true that a trans woman who went through the wrong puberty will probably end up taller and thus more advantaged in some sports relative to a random cis woman you picked off the street … the problem is that cis female athletes are not random cis women, there is a selection bias towards the tallest, strongest, etc. women - so especially in that context the evidence does not point to trans women having an advantage over cis female athletes (i.e. the trans women who are athletes are not that competitive or successful in sports).
EDIT: oh, and I wanted to say, John Oliver did a decent job covering the trans sports controversy, it really needs to be said that trans participation in sports has been normal for decades without controversy or issue, the only reason it’s coming up now is because the GOP and the anti-trans movement failed to get bathroom bans to pass (and after the anti-abortion movement killed Roe v Wade they needed a new issue to motivate their base), so they identified trans participation in sports as a better starting point for normalizing transphobic policies that aim to ultimately eliminate trans people from the public.
It is very telling that most trans athletic bans in the US target kids playing in K-12 school systems, and that most of the bans exclude trans men as well as trans women; the goal is not fairness in high-stakes athletic competitions (where regulations are already in place to ensure fairness), the goal is to punish and ostracize trans people and to normalize legislation that does so.
We just need to go full Harrison Bergeron with all sports/athletes and never talk about this shit again.

Basically, you take a knife and try to get it to stick into the ground. The simplest versions of it are about how deep it goes into the ground. But when you’re playing serious, you do tricks, like flipping it up, bouncing it off of various body parts and hopefully getting it to stick into the ground. It’s way more challenging than it seems on the surface, especially since you don’t use specialized knives, you use regular pocket and sheath knives that aren’t going to be perfectly balanced.
