I too would hide my face with such a shameful thumbnail.
Don’t hate the player, hate the game. There’s a ton of evidence out there that whether you like it or not these kinds of thumbnails are effective at driving views.

Steve does complain a lot lately but I am trying not to blame the messenger for the bad news. The whole PC and gaming industry is in a bad place right now.
I don’t watch even half of what they put out but I’d say he’s the best tech journalist in the biz right now (for this niche). You say complaining, I say reporting. I love hearing him call out the absurdity of these corpos.
Eh… I like Steve for the most part, but he does complain a lot on top of his reporting.
At least Corsair are honoring some of the previous discounts that they cancelled (if the customer complains, eventually, and in a clumsy way). If it is true that Corsair laid off over 100 of their staff it could explain their confused response.
Can’t blame them for trying to get into enterprise business when the consumer gamer side is going to implode due to DRAM prices and all the money is going into AI datacenters.
