So how’s it going?
My Christmas shopping is coming along well I think! Have got presents for 2 out of the 3 kids, and the third is planned. Will grab some books and clothes to pad things out and give them more to open.
I also have all the pieces for the PC I’m assembling as a family Christmas present. I did some hardware upgrades in my server, and had some spare pieces, but have now got a case, mobo, RAM, CPU and keyboard/mouse/screen so it should be a full kit. I got a case with a big window and all the new parts have RGB lights where possible which I’m sure the kids will love.
I’m thinking of going with Bazzite for the OS. The immutable nature of the OS annoyed me no end and I barely lasted a couple of months, but when it’s the kids being the main users I feel like it’s a good idea to go for something a little less breakable just in case.
