Unless there are multiple fucks in play, in which case it is “for fucks’ sake”

The latter, but if this is going global to lots of employees then why not go the whole hog and say ‘For fucking fuck’s sake’ gives you a little more impact 😁

I keep saying “sake” in my head and it doesn’t feel like a word anymore.

Maybe we all have it wrong and it is “For fuck’s ache”. As in “you are giving me a sore hole, so stop it”.

If you’re going on Quora to get advice on how to “sound professional” then you’ve probably failed already

I once had a drink called For Goodness Sake. As in, sake, the Japanese beverage.

It was mid tier at best.

Well …1) Quick question. Is it "for fucks sake" or "for fuck sake"? It's for a work email, so it has to sound professional. 2) Neither: It's "for fuck's sake"; the sake is on behalf of the fuck, so you need a possessive. 3) It should have an apostrophe to show possessive. The REAL question is whether it should be "for fuck's sake" or "for fucks' sake". Is it for the sake OT ALL the fucks or just this fuck in particular?
