No Stupid QuestionsMaybe it’s a California thing, but growing up there was a lot of back and forth about how you could get put on the sex offender list for urinating in public. That wasn’t the case. So if someone said that’s the reason they were on the list, it was never the full story.
To be clear, I’ve never done this, it was just some weird cultural zeitgeist when I was growing up.
It’s also beyond ‘good Samaritan’ due to the whole ‘pulled her towards his car’ aspect. It also reads as someone trying to discipline someone outside of their care. Imagine you’re a teen trying to jaywalk and this random guy turns his vehicle around, grabs you, and tries to drag you towards it.
It definitely gives of ‘I’m only on the sex offender list because I pissed in public’ vibes.
Lemmy ShitpostClosest we get to snow is the ash from wildfires, womp womp. Nearby mountains get snow though, so that’s nice.
Construction isn’t a season where I’m at, it’s a constant. Our seasons are hot, wildfire, mudslide, and earthquake.

Ah yeah, I do need the banking apps unfortunately. I used to love tinkering, and love this fresh start, but it is a learning curve as I get older. Do you have a preferred method of sideloading? Appreciate you responding BTW

PC GamingFunnily enough we all met playing Destiny 1, then continued playing Destiny 2 till Final Shape. There really isn’t anything like it out there and it’s a crying shame Bungo had to be like this. They’re the ones who turned me onto Forza, so I’m lucky it all just clicked. I think it also helps that it’s a completely different genre
I’m actually really excited for the new Forza Horizon game, but not for the reason most people would be. My gamer group has been struggling to find a game that we can all play together again that we actually want to play. I’m the only PC gamer of the group, so it’s gotta be cross platform. So while I’ve had good fun playing previous Horizon games, I’m mostly looking forward to who I get to play it with.

They usually have more experience with shorter hair, and other than a single occasion I’ve never had to explain or justify my length. My hair had gotten down to my shoulders at the start of this year (my usual barber had left the shop) and it really started to bother me. I went to a new barber and wasn’t ever asked ‘are you sure?’ I let them now the style I usually get and the blade number and off they went. Talked about baseball and traffic like I was one of the guys.

Just Switched from iOS to Android after a decade, help?
So I just got a Moto Razr and am going to start setting it up. I’ve been outside of the android ecosystem for a long time. Can I get some recommendations for anything and everything? I recently read the Nova launcher has gotten much worse since I last used it. I’m also not sure if I should do a launcher or just use the base OS. I know that there are loads of articles out there, but I’m getting really tired of wading through AI gen articles and would love your personal experience.
