minus-squareacockworkorangelinkfedilinkarrow-up4·8 months agoI thought all multicellular fruiting bodies of fungi were called mushrooms, whether they’re caps, conks, puffballs, corals, what have you. Also another beginner friendly mushroom is chanterelle. Morels should be fairly easy to tell from false morels too. Lion’s mane is also easy to ID.
