I kinda love this. Fan of the manga and the original film is an all time favorite, maybe I’m just happy to squint and spend some more time here. There’s many things to enjoy though.
Billy Drago moves like Baryshnikov at times and he hisses at us. I’m fascinated by his teeth.

I really thought I might find something in this one. Would’ve maybe rated a tad higher lest the disappointment factor hadn’t crept in.
I wanted to love this film, believe me I tried. Twice. I tried imaging It in my brain as a narco drip Austrian heist film that Rita was for some reason trying to sabotage. Nobody believed her, nobody will believe me.
I like scenes in bathhouses though and foreign looking electronic devices. Maybe I’m coming around to it now. I’m gonna make a list someday of all the films with indoor pools or bathhouses in them and I’ll start with this one.
Wow, this series has blown my brain. Now I don’t wanna watch anything else. Where do I go from here? I may never recover from this. Gonna need some guidance on where to go next…
