This is really setting things up obviously, doubling down on the scale and seriousness. clearly building toward something bigger rather than standing on its own. i just really hope part 2 actually delivers and knocks it all down properly. soooo hoooked rn.
Comedy with pace and smooth flow. so smart. nostalgic in a very specific way. everything escalates perfectly. comedy rewatch value is crazy.
Nice one, good and enjoyable. often crosses the line between hooking the audience and overloading it with unnecessary trivial details just to add layers. overcomplicating things with too many small details that don’t always add much. full decoration, less depth. comparing to the 2 previous Knives Out, i just don't think a movie should overdo details like this.
