3 stars for being a half century ahead of its time. A star and a half for Shelly Winters giving us some grade a 1960s academy award nominated LGBTQ representation.

Double feature this with Cabaret.

This movie is Tarantinos love letter to himself. While there is a case to be made that this is true for all his movies, it is never more clear than this one. That being said, this is still so fun to watch. My personal favorite aspect of this movie is the tangents that the plot goes on. I could watch a full season of Lancer, or a movie about Cliff's time in the war or miniseries about Rick's time in Italy.

Two and a half stars for the dog. Two stars for the Spahn Ranch sequence.

Double feature this with The Wrecking Crew

I really enjoyed this. Every performance in this Hitchcockian thriller are perfect.
