Last year I sent a complaint to my local MP about the fact that the NHS doesn’t fund shockwave therapy, a physiotherapy treatment I needed to help me walk again (I was helped to pay for some sessions by the people here). In my email I mostly wrote about my physical difficulties and how it was impacting my life being barely able to walk, but I also made a brief mention that it adversely affects my mental health to have to live like this. I said the NHS should fund this treatment and also spoke about how there would be fewer people languishing on disability benefits if we could receive the treatment we need on the NHS.
All this time later I have finally got a response from the “Correspondence Officer” at the “Ministerial Correspondence and Public Enquiries Department of Health and Social Care,” doesn’t even give their actual name.
It’s an absolutely infuriating response that ignores all my physical difficulties and the impact it has on my life, ignores my comments about people left to languish on disability due to lack of NHS treatment and just tells me to ask my GP to refer me for mental health treatment if I’m having difficulty coping wit my life situation!

Thank you. I’m just so used to it by now, and too exhausted to even try and complain any more. Also mental health treatment on the NHS is rubbish anyway. I spent 5 years on the waiting list to get like 8 sessions with an idiot who just told me to draw pictures and meditate.
I would not be surprised if there is a deliberate project to pack public services of all kinds in capitalist countries with misanthropes and saboteurs. But maybe the propaganda and built-in dysfunction is already enough to accomplish that ‘organically’.
It’s built in the system. There is no master plan, there’s just shared interests and of course the people with power will collaborate to maintain their power and plan accordingly to their interests. Their personal interests, according to what they believe, shaped by their material reality.
If you study what liberalism/neoliberalism is and what the founding principles are, which they 100% believe in, it makes sense why things are going down the toilet. And they can’t help themselves, they’re too incompetent to survive, they have no clue what they’re doing. This belief system literally tries to regress us to before Ancient Greece even existed.
I know that Porky and his intelligentsia think that way, and I know loads of working-class people have absorbed a certain passive eugenics under the influence of bourgeois culture; I’m just pondering how so many workers in the health systems, even at the lowest levels, turn out to be malicious knife-twisters who want people under their care to hurry up and die.
Most human beings would rather be helping each other, and capitalism can’t stop the bulk of people from wanting that. It can only arrange itself to make them confused and powerless to realize that wish within the system. Given that, I would expect most public workers to be more resigned rather than actively vicious. To me it just has the stink of private foundations, NGOs, professional associations etc. injecting their venom steadily, displacing the care workers who would help if they could, with the aim of poisoning the concept of public services itself.
Oh they absolutely insert their venom everywhere, in the management positions that control the means of productions.
But the reason why the workers turn “evil” is because they are given a task to treat 1000 patients while being given only the dosage of medicine to save 100 of them. Like imagine working in a food kitchen where every time you run out of food, there’s a line of people left with nothing in their hands. You call your management, they call others and eventually they get the answer: “Sorry we’re out of budget.” Or something like that.
That’s Barbarism. That’s the world we live in. I know helpers who couldn’t take it anymore, too much to deal with. People are lost, they don’t know what to do. That includes me, not sure what to do either honestly. I’ve tried to organize, there’s nowhere to go. Was I supposed to be doing sigma grindset like the liberals? idk people told me my chances of success were 0.001%, so I can see why it seems like illuminati is controlling us. It’s bad.
There’s a lot of speculation that American big business is paying British politicians to destroy the NHS and maker us have private healthcare so the American insurance companies can do big business here.
