Tries to touch the earth lightly. ...fails most of the time but brushes off most of the dust and gets back in the saddle.

My dream house is a slender japandi tinyhouse inside a greenhouse built with wooden laminated bow arches covered with inflated ETFE cushions.

Horses and sighthounds pretty much sums up my life at this moment.

@vmaderna - At first glance it looked like Apis Mellifera Mellifera (Nordic bee) to me, but the tuque made me wonder if this actually might be an Apis Mellifera Ligustica exchange student, which also would explain the (in this case) very loose cluster and the yellow-striped knitted sweater similar to the one that made Gordon Sumner famous.

I could very well be mistaken, though.

@vmaderna - True, and Nordic bees are much darker and don't need tuques because they don't cluster, they huddle (with their butts sticking out) as if playing rugby.

Not as cute as the one you depicted, I would say...

@FediTips - Today I'm pondering a Fediverse streaming service.

It could play all public videos on an instance.

Or it could play public music.

It could play talks, interviews or spoken information.

It might mix all of the above. ...automatically.

...and allow peer pressure to change the time of day something would be streamed?

...and show a list of stuff playing?

...linked to a searchable archive?

Fever dreams, probably.

The first step - imho - would be to simply attach a sound file to one of your posts. ...and the main goal of your journey is to have an instance that automatically verifies your artist (and tech) collegues.

The local feed of that instance would be interesting from a journalistic point of view...

@Ismellamuskus @FediTips - Thinking of it as a "server" limits your thinking. An "instance" is your neighbourhood, filled with social networking possibilities. Technically both are software solutions but don't underestimate the human difference.

"Professional" is nice, but the main test to clear is to avoid being a tombstone. It is better to make simple posts than referring to a dead web site, no matter how fancy the design is.

If you see a post with numbers and/or the 🧵 symbol at the end, it means the post is part of a longer thread. Click on the post to see the entire thread it is part of.

The numbers indicate which part of the thread the post is from, for example "3/7" would indicate post three in a seven post thread.

Some people may not be sure how many posts they are adding to a thread, so they may just put 1/ on the first post, then 2/, 3/ etc.

Some people use 🧵 when marking a thread, others don't.

@FediTips - I use the : character to mark that the text in the post continues.

So at the end of a post that will flow into the next post I add two line feeds and end the post with a colon.
