I think it's mainly his racist, heartless deportation agenda he wishes to bolster, not to mention his misguided hatred of Pritzker. Chicago's violent crime rate has fallen significantly in 2025, down 21% from 2024 highs.

@nixCraft I was attending the University of Tampere in Finland when Linus Torvalds was hatching the idea for Linux, affectionately named after him. He was at Helsinki University at the time. When I heard what he was doing I thought how cool of an idea it was. Thank you, Linus!
Even if I had a time machine, and even if I could bring this picture back to 2015 — even then, I could not explain to anyone that in the future, a convicted felon would become president of the USA, and he would invite wanted war criminal Vladimir Putin to Alaska to debate the future for our ally Ukraine — WITHOUT Ukraine present.
A few might believe I was from the future, but NO ONE would believe the picture of these two criminals in front of Air Force One was real.
