It took almost a decade for Nazi Germany to get to the point of concentration camps and then to start turning to gas chambers/incinerators to perform mass genocide.

Turns out, even the most hardcore jew-hating Nazi's couldn't handle just unloading on a crowd of prisoners in the concentration camps with a gun on full auto and mowing innocent people down.

We know this because they legitimately tried that first, and their most hardcore Nazi SS troopers couldn't do it.

So then they built the gas chambers.

We're not there yet, but we're very, very close, and we're barely a year in.

Fascism's moving faster than it used to.

neukenindekeuken ,

That's fair.

It's cute that he thought "Gay Minotaur Sex" would be a brand new sentence somehow.

We should help build an action/workflow that checks all PRs against common AI slop/tropes of code posting and flags any that are AI derivative as "WON'T MERGE" until the PR submitter can prove that they submitted it without the use of AI.

Godot should have a zero AI tolerance policy on this stuff. No AI anywhere near the game engine. The Godot devs should start enforcing that.

Edit: Editing my comment to include some resources that could help with this in case people were interested:

https://github.com/peakoss/anti-slop

and

https://github.com/mitchellh/vouch

are two approaches to try and combat this.

Also it looks like Github is aware of the issue and possibly doing something about it:
https://www.theregister.com/2026/02/03/github_kill_switch_pull_requests_ai/

But it remains to be seen if they'll actually address it, given that MS is their parent company and they own OpenAI...

Before there were ships, there were horses.

And I know what you're going to say. Yeah, but before there were horses there wer-NO. Nothing existed before horses, and I'll hear no more of that slander anti-horse talk.

neukenindekeuken ,

Not soon enough.

He didn't get into ebikes because he cared about the environment, he got into it because its a new way to make a quick buck in an emerging market. This guy wanted to grift, like trump. Its why he's confused right now.

neukenindekeuken ,

It was his real mom.

neukenindekeuken ,

Pretty much. It destroys the cell walls containing the blood platelets and basically causes a blood volcano in your body.

Its kind of the idea behind the vials used on the vampires in the first blade movie.

Why is the mirror so low to the ground and mounted to the wall in that position?

neukenindekeuken ,

There's lots of checks happening. They're not balanced though.

Not how it works when you have cancer.

The treatments come from a specialty pharmacy and don't count as a part of your out of pocket maximum. There's no limit on what they can charge for that. Additionally, any of the bleeding edge treatments, are never covered by insurance. And when your life is on the line, you want the bleeding edge treatments.

neukenindekeuken ,

I can tell you, having gone through the CVS specialty pharmacy stuff for chemo medication specifically, it is absolutely not covered in the way you or they have said, and you absolutely do not pay $0.

Have you ever had cancer or had a family member go through cancer treatments? Because if you haven't, you probably shouldn't speak from a position of authority on things for which you have no direct personal experience with.

I have both had very close family members go through this and am going through something similar myself personally.

My copay is absolutely not $0 from CVS specialty pharmacy. Usually, for a $9k-12k prescription (Depends on the dosage they decide I need), I end up needing to cover around $2k/month, after insurance. And that's with having double insurance providers. Some of that can be helped out with from other assistance programs from the manufacturer, such as a manf. co-pay card, but the money I pay towards it does not count towards my out of pocket deductible, so I'm forced to also hit my OOP maximum from normal procedures that aren't related to the specialty pharmacy medication.

Additionally, health insurance has been covering less and less of my medications and procedures each and every year. So it keeps getting worse for me, and I assume everyone else, including those in the SAG.

neukenindekeuken ,

Same as it ever was.

neukenindekeuken ,

Hell yeah Portugal.

Now, pass some laws that are going to make it hard for PT MAGA to gain a foothold again.

Or don't, and watch them come back with a vengeance next election.

neukenindekeuken ,

We mustn't answer the call!

neukenindekeuken ,

It's the crime of living in a capitalistic society. The only thing that anyone recognizes is money. And stray animals being kept alive costs money. And space to store them costs money. And people to volunteer costs money.

Without money, the institutions collapse and it's seen as acceptable to purge anything that was causing the system to lose money.

Empathy, like SS Musk says, is a "weakness" that capitalism has been purging from the system for centuries.

As far as data goes, Japan is far more trustworthy than China. By a few million miles.

It's not about if that's plausible, it's about if it's the most/only plausible explanation. In this case, it is not. There's several scenarios where this could be a thing. Staging a blackmail being the most obvious one.

With that said, I still find it curious he'd have used that as a draft letter to himself for blackmail purposes. The only way that really makes sense, is if he knew his emails were being monitored, or that he'd have to turn over email evidence to the state or something like that. Otherwise, why do that other than just as a note to yourself (and admittedly, I've used gmail drafts for personal notes plenty before).

So, both seem plausible, but I will admit the "Bill did get an STI from an underage sex trafficked girl on Epstein Island and old Jeff made a note for himself in gmail quickly on his phone so he'd get back to it later when he had time" scenario seems more realistic.

    Classic Hitler mistake.

You can punish and gas and murder your own citizens by the literal train-load; just don't try and do that in countries other than your own or eventually, many years later, after you've invaded half a dozen countries, someone will stop you.

    neukenindekeuken ,

    There's always an XKCD.

    neukenindekeuken ,

It is projection. Peter Thiel is the closest thing to the anti-christ alive in terms of his impact. Trump would be a close second purely based on his personality, impact, current, and past deeds.

TL;DR; the people who are doing anti-christ like shit, are the ones worried the most about the anti-christ.

Ambassador Rose isn't backing down— he's been fiercely arguing on social media not only with Prime Minister Donald Tusk , but also with a random user on the X website who commented on one of his posts. "Should we take all our soldiers and equipment with us?" They just need to copy the Pizza Hut experience in China.

It's a black tie affair, with a maître d' and everything.

    neukenindekeuken ,

Just go ahead and plan for the general strike.

We don't need to fucking wait for the meddling to happen then act all surprised and disgusted when it does.

They're fucking saying they're going to do it right now. They've been saying it for over a year. They were saying it in 2020. It was on the recordings. The Garland slow walked the election interference case and acted all surprised when the charges were instantly dropped after trump took over the DOJ.

So. Let's organize a general strike, right fucking now. Let's plan for it to happen in October ahead of the election.

They are going to fuck with it. They're fucking with it now.

The time to plan and organize is now. We don't need a plan for a plan for an organization.

Democracy is ending right now. Today. Let's fucking go.

    neukenindekeuken ,

Acid certainly changed my life for the better. I used to stress out about everything. I still stress out about things now, but I have the heads-up knowledge that all of reality is a fragile thread of consciousness where my brain is tricking itself into viewing and interpreting the world around me as a stable, solid thing, when the truth is that reality is as subjective as you want it to be.

There are no rules. You can make up and do whatever you want.

Then I stop worrying about why I got a $5 fee for some bullshit from my bank I'll have to call them about tomorrow.

    neukenindekeuken ,

That's been studied before, and IIRC, is not plausible, but is "acid lore".

Edit: Ah, here we go. Yeah, it's all bullshit, like I thought. It's just people making up stories unfortunately.

    neukenindekeuken ,

Jetpack Cat was the original name of the cat though. It's a tough corner they've backed themselves into there.

It was originally the model for Pharah, before they decided (Jeff Kaplan) that it should be more serious and not include actual animals in it (you have Winston, but he talks and acts like a human).

So they reworked the Jetpack Cat into Pharah and released her as the daughter of Ana.

Jetpack Cat is owned by Brigetta and is one of her emotes that she picks it up and cuddles it.

If they had named it anything else, it would have ruined the 10 years of lore they built up around it, so I understand why they did it.

The issue for me is that it's a support character.

They also had an altercation with Pretti a week or so before. So there's a case for something like retribution here.

This is on top of an overlook above Sintra. If you go down from here, there's an incredible garden, an actual castle that was once the capital for the kings and other royalty of PT, and also a mansion/church that the knight templars used to pray at before battle.

All in all, highly recommend Sintra.

Key words like that don't just accidentally get filtered out with a "bug".

    neukenindekeuken ,

Not a chance. Not even remotely possible if they have automated testing (which they do) and qa staff verifying features (which they also do), and smoke/regression tests after deployment (which they do).

I've worked in this industry for 30 years, and the chance that that's what happened, immediately after a takeover by people who really don't want those terms searched on, and the feature was released in that state, and stayed in that state without a hotfix or patch going out and it wasn't caught by their own testers, is practically nil.
