Squirrel digging in the snow in our backyard.

Squirrel half hidden by the snow. We see the head and upper body, and part of the tail, sticking up from a deep hole in the snow. It is facing to the left, and the sun is on its back--there is a shadow in front of the squirrel. The rest of the frame is filled with snow.

I had the patio door open, and my big lens was just a few feet away from this Carolina wren on our feeder, but it didn't seem to mind.
