I navigate life with the help of the eightfold year blended with other spiritual paths including, but not exclusive to, the eight limbs of yoga, Buddhism, the cycles of the moon.

It's kind of people to follow me, but you maybe short-changed by my minimalist approach to posting and I don't always follow back.

I live with a chronic neurological disorder.

A very quick sketch this evening. I had a round trip to Edinburgh hospital as a telephone appointment for my partner turned into “we need to see this”. Three hour journey to get there, but once there all looks ok from the doctor, another three hours home, with a bit of snow driving thrown in. Quite a long day.

Being right next to the sea (and the Gulf Stream), we tend not to get really low temperatures. Unlike Achnasheen, which is roughly half way between the Atlantic and the North Sea, and can get; well... this cold:

One from last week. The 'Balgy Gap' was only closed in the 1960s when the bridge was built. Before then vehicles had a +/-70 mile diversion. There are still stepping stones to the east of the bridge for the brave/daft.

Collage with masking tape added, then a wash of watercolour, resulting in an unintentional bit of de-collage where pieces ripped off the surface when removing the tape. Sometimes things don't work the way you think.
