Apparently my Fedi promo video is giving error messages on YouTube (shocker).

So I just logged on YouTube Studio for the first time in months to see what's going on... and found some interesting comments.

I'm not caffeinated enough to deliver zingers but I hope my response was adequate.

On the upside, I also saw a few comments of people who set up new accounts here, so yay.

As for the unplayable problem: no clue. But this is why I LOVE and on my website I'm using the PeerTube embed

A comment by a user that says: "Elena, congratulations on exposing yourself as the villain(cause) of all this. I genuinely hope big tech buys the Fediverse. I love how how everyone, here and big tech are going to lose." My response below: "Joke's on you because the entire point of the Fediverse is that it's made up of thousand of independent servers... it's basically billionaire-proof, nobody can buy it. Sure a billionaire could technically set up their own server but it would take seconds for people to defederate from it. That's what I love about the Fediverse: by the people, for the people, you're in control"

@grumpygamer The most surprising thing about LLMs is how many people ignore that it’s nothing more than predictive text on steroids. It knows nothing about the subject it’s outputting, except the probability of the appearance of the next token, based on the data it’s fed. It’s basically the “write the first word and let autocomplete do the rest” meme, applied to whatever you’re trying to do. 😝
