The new one is doing double duty as reasonably tasteful performative remembrance fetish object, but also sad commentary on the slow rate of repair of All Saints' Church since the 2022 fire, or morale boosting message to the community, depending on your perspective.

Good morning. A trouble-free transition to GMT. Didn't notice a thing, awoke at my normal 7am on my clock, which had adjusted itself automatically, and it seems I had too.

Taking bets on whether J's friend, who is meant to be coming to meet J for midday, will actually arrive at 11am.

They are meant to be heading off then for a girls weekend, seeing a Grayson Perry show in Truro. So, half a silent Sunday for me.

My photo of the stag on the hill that I posted earlier reminded me of a photo that I took many years back. Even then someone suggested that I had 'photoshopped' him in. I didn't of course, but A.I. will mean everything you look at from now should be viewed with suspicion.

Nansen has a ‘friend’ who comes in and eats his food (and drinks his water). We keep on chasing the friend away. We are unsure whether Nansen is more stressed by his food being eaten or by us chasing away the friend (it is also unclear whether the friendship is genuine or exploitative/bullying).
