The NHS in the UK has loads of issues, but times like this reminds me how fortunate we are. I have had close family members go through cancer and cost of treatment was never on our minds

If someone is able to find out they aren't actually trans, isn't that a good thing? Having doubts about gender while growing up might be a new normal we'll have to learn how to handle, there will be some people that are cis and there will be some people that actually have gender dysphoria and transitioning would be in their best interest.

Maybe I should design the throne room after the House of Lords. The castle is definitely supposed to be the main residence of The King. A chapel would be cool, but I don't really like the idea of a private chapel and being apart from the peasantry, I have a Cathedral in the settlement as well. I wonder if I could build a new church though, maybe with a special balcony and an access passage from the castle.

Yep, I'm using creative!

My world isn't really a theme or anything. A chinese style pagoda is overlooking the place from a distance. I built it because I thought it would be a fun challenge. However for castles, I do default to norman style.

The castle will both be administrative and secure, but mainly administrative. I'm not really basing the society on medieval times. There are some ideas I have heard like how the old lord of where I grew up had his mansion at the town square because he wanted people to be able to walk up and knock his door, etc. Or how not attending the Church with commoners just seems wrong and unchristian. Although chapels are cool, a personal private prayer chapel will likely be a feature.
