Once upon a time there were genuine proletarian immigrants looking to work towards a better future for themselves and their family. But now, most immigrants to western countries are bourgeois and are already rich and just want to cash in on the big bubble before it bursts. In Canada, they overwhelmingly come here just to become slumlords. Cramming 10+ international students...People from the same place as them in some cases... into 2 bedroom "apartments" (most are just loosely repurposed house basements).

If fascism is capitalism in decay, what was feudalism in decay? Is the extreme reactionary response to the birth of the new mode of production a necessary feature of the process of revolution?

Was the development of absolutism a response to the rising capitalist class and/or republicanism? My knowledge of late medieval history is really not as strong as it could be so I’m interested to hear what people think

Keep in mind that that number could easily be exaggerated for dramatic effect as a deterrent for future ambitious peasants. Also, just because that particular event didn't lead to sudden change doesn't mean it ended the struggle. Eventually, feudalism did indeed come to an end.

That being said, millions die every year due to the depravity of capitalism. Yet, in the west, nobody bats an eye. we are still well insulated compared to the struggles in the global south. They have been fighting for decades already. The pace of change is quickening day by day.

Not really answering your question but to me, anything "supernatural" is just something we have yet to understand. We don't know everything. A lot of mythologies were created as a means of rationalizing a world people didn't fully understand. Like dragons, for example.

The brainwashing is more to do with wealth/class. Making it seem that if an individual is homeless or poor then it's solely and purely their fault and not the predatory society/economic model we live in thats dominated by parasites.

A rich drug addict is still seen as a success and positive contributor to society.

A poor/working class drug addict is seen as an abject failure and a drain on society.

Look up the centuria project. These people hate the EU and the West only slightly less than they hate Russia. Once the war with Russia is over they will 100% turn on the west. It's a part of their entire schtick. They want a "paneuropean" brotherhood to be established in place of the EU. In other words, they want to create a white super state across Europe. They may not be religious fundamentalists like the taliban, but they have all of the hallmarks of a grassroots terrorist organization willing to use violence on anyone and everyone.
