One of my main uses of Instagram is basically following accounts that post funny tweets and such. Are there any such active accounts on Pixelfed?

I can't change my profile picture on gram.social, the account linked to my mastodon account. has anyone experienced the same thing? I have another account on the same instance which isn't registered/linked with any mastodon account (registered via email) and I can change the profile picture.

When creating a post, how do you tag users who are on different instances? For example, I'm creating a post on pixelfed.ca and I want to tag someone on pxlfd.ca. Pixelfed app gives an error about the server not being compatible. Web just returns a blank page. Anyone else? Same with other servers?
