A lone bear sits quietly on a hillside, illuminated by soft golden light breaking through the misty forest. This peaceful wildlife scene captures the strength and calm of nature in a moody, atmospheric setting.

Wolf Moon is the name of the first moon in January, traditionally when wolves howl at the moon. Here a wolf is painted with the image of the moon reflecting in his eyes.

You may remember I tried Wild deodorant not too long ago and I gave it a solid review of about 2/10. Maybe it just isn't suited to my body but is suited for millions of others.
Well! Husband recently got some samples of Akt. It's a similar concept of natural deodorant only this one was designed by actors (hence the name that sounds like "act"). He never tried Wild but, after a few days of using Akt, husband suggested I give it a go.
It's been 4 days and I haven't yet felt the need to return to my previous stuff. I got super sweaty at one point today and when I sniffed myself a few hours later, I couldn't smell body odour in the slightest.
So if you've ever felt betrayed by the popularity of Wild, try Akt! #wild#akt
„We all are brought forth out of darkness
Into this world through blood and through pain
And deep in our bones, the old songs are wakening
So sing them with voices of thunder and rain”

Woman with long dark hair wearing a white off-the-shoulder dress and a necklace with a tooth pendant. A crown of green leaves and grass adorns her head. She is looking upwards, surrounded by lush, blurred greenery in the background.
From the time she leapt out of bed to when, at night, she flopped back in it, she was running, exploring, touching, poking, jumping, laughing, and asking endless questions.
Quite obviously, she wasn't sitting behind a school desk.
This particular hike is considered difficult, with its length of 11 miles and a 2,200-foot elevation gain. Just be sure you know this going in, and if you can handle it then you will surely be glad you did it. This hike kicked my butt, but I would not have missed it for the world.

Just be sure you know this going in, and if you can handle it then you will surely be glad you did it. This hike kicked my butt, but I would not have missed it for the world. The stunning views all the way and at the very end of the hike are all well worth the effort it takes to get there.
The trail winds through alpine meadows, past turquoise lakes, and along dramatic cliffside paths with sweeping views of the glacial-carved valleys below. Towering peaks frame your journey, and wildlife sightings—like bighorn sheep, mountain goats, or even the occasional bear—make the adventure even more memorable. At the trail’s end, Grinnell Glacier itself awaits: a breathtaking vista of ice and rock that captures the raw, untouched beauty of Glacier National Park. It’s a landscape carved by time and preserved by wonder.
This image captures just a moment of that unforgettable journey—one that challenges the body and stirs the soul.

The distant cliff, robed in coastal evergreens, holds the memory of wind and wave in every crevice. It’s a moment suspended in wild majesty—where land, sea, and sky converge in quiet conversation.
This powerful composition captures both the scale and solitude of Washington’s iconic coastline. The sea stacks, cloaked in moss and time, seem almost alive—weathered yet immovable, as if carved by myth.
Ruby Beach, Olympic National Park, Washington
Where wild beauty meets moody mystery, Ruby Beach is one of the crown jewels of the Pacific Northwest coast. With its dramatic sea stacks rising like ancient sentinels from the Pacific, driftwood strewn like nature’s sculpture garden, and mist weaving through towering evergreens, this is a place where the soul pauses to breathe.
Captured on a crisp autumn afternoon, this scene from Cape Flattery, Washington, reveals the raw and rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest’s edge. Jagged cliffs plunge into the deep teal waters below, where waves swirl and crash with ancient rhythm. Moss-covered sea stacks rise like sentinels as towering evergreens line the coast

Jagged cliffs plunge into the deep teal waters below, where waves swirl and crash with ancient rhythm. Moss-covered sea stacks rise like sentinels as towering evergreens line the coastal ridge, etched against a shifting sky of blue and cloud.
This particular view is from one of the Cape Flattery Trail’s scenic overlooks, looking southeast toward a dramatic sea cave carved into the volcanic cliffs, where the Pacific Ocean collides with the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The rich turquoise waters churn below, revealing underwater rock formations and tide-whipped sea foam. A mossy basalt outcropping anchors the foreground, while the backdrop of old-growth forest completes the breathtaking tableau. This is the northwesternmost point in the contiguous United States—where the continent ends in a flourish of natural grandeur.
Color Me Lion / Whimsical Lion Art by Lisa S Baker. A bold and vibrant interpretation of a lion, brought to life through a whirlwind of colors, geometric patterns, and abstract swirls. The lion’s steady, powerful gaze anchors the piece, offering a striking contrast to the dynamic background. This fusion of wild energy and quiet strength captures the lion’s noble presence in a truly unique and captivating way.
