Logo + intro screen for Syntrax, our former dev team's third music editor (Windows, 1998), after SIDmon (Amiga, 1989) and Digital Mugician (Amiga, 1990).
3D artwork, showing a blue musical note character walking across a mix between a music keyboard and a computer keyboard, while an audio chip character acts as a conductor, sprinkling magical musical notes to change the computer keyboard into a music keyboard.
Artwork and design for the electronic music album of a friend.
The title "Sleepless on the 25th" and my image refer to the night he made the album. He couldn't sleep because the day before someone had been murdered in an adjacent apartment.
Detail of an electronic music device, showing three knobs. Each knob looks more like a ghost, as each one points progressively to an indicator ranging from a cradle icon to a casket icon.
I'm a hobbyist synth musician, and I'm doing something called Jamuary, where I (and a bunch of other people online) try to kick out a little something new and musical every day. Playing around with the new release of Absynth 6, it's notable for being Absynth except (A) the mysterious stuff is no longer concealed in a trippy hippy interface and (B) it now fits amidst a whole lot of synthesizers that do much the same thing.
Not to say it's bad - it's just lost the sleight of hand which now passes to U-He's forthcoming and inscrutable Zebra. #musicproduction#synth
I just published the code of the first prototype of Diapasonix, a bass-like synth and MIDI controller I'm developing.
It uses the fabuolous AMY synth engine and runs on a Raspberry Pi Pico 2. Loads of presets and effects!
