As a San Diego coastal native that remembers the vibe of the 1980s to about 2000, I get a little of that relaxed vibe in Morro Bay and the Central Coast.
Enjoy and be well.

I use discarded plastic gift cards as scrapers and spreaders to paint my pictures with a little use from brushes. I also use green and yellow Frog Tape and paper stencils and masks. I use sanding blocks to smooth rough spots in the painting and very old sanding blocks to buff the surface of painted areas. Sometimes when I buff certain colors it changes the tone slightly which is not necessarily undesirable in may cases. On very rare occasions I will use a varathane varnish to cover my paintings.
