Concept for an open studio invitation. I used my M1 Ultra to pen draw the title on the front and cut the arched window and the card from some cardstock. I created the printed interior tip-in with a picture of my studio space, invitation text and a QR Code of map coordinates using Affinity Designer and had it printed at a copy shop.
Here I am working on a pattern for an m-house in Affinity Designer. This will go in the same assemblage with the three tiny sofa chairs. I will save it as an SVG file and bring it into XCS (xTool Creative Space) so the parts can be laser cut. A few of the items will be blade cut from card stock. I could probably design all the parts in XCS but I find working in Affinity Designer easier with all the tools I'm most familiar with.
