May we collectively pause and consider what has happened, what continues, and what must happen in future to be better.

The last buildings of the old Christie IRS on Meares Island near Tofino will be demolished October 9th. Survivors are invited to witness and/or participate. Link to news story below.

National Truth and Reconciliation Day here to recognize the atrocities white Christians did to the Indigenous people of Canada by ripping children from their families and forcing them into residential schools and wiping out an entire culture.
A dark chapter in Canada’s history.
So naturally, corporations want to take advantage of this day and have you buy up orange donuts and orange tshirts and orange flags and orange signs… for charity of course.
