This is pretty frightening stuff. I also bothered to take it through a fact check. The only error I could see was the only error that was picked up by my fact checker - that is, the author doesn't know their Tolkien well enough (the Palantiri did not belong to Sauron, he just happened to acquire one of them and use the net work of Palantiri for his evil purposes).
The Palantir was also instrumental in his defeat. He trusted what he saw through it, but forgot that it didn't see everything. He saw a hobbit (Pippin) with Aragorn and assumed that he'd seen where the ring-bearer was.
That plan to establish another five Freeports.... err, seems like Labour are now saying that was never the plan & it was a 'cock up with the comms'.
So its just continuing with the current Freeports then, despite extensive evidence that they generate no new investment, just displace investment from other paces... in other words they are a scam to reduce corporations tax exposure & little else....
