This is an Atmospheric Watercolor Landscape Painting in portrait orientation in an A5 sketchbook using Daniel Smith Rose of Ultramarine, Undersea Green, Payne's Gray, Iridescent Goldstone, and Hansa Yellow Deep. Blue dominates the sides and top, Rose of Ultramarine is dominate in the center, green comes in pops and the yellow and gold are splattered towards the middle to create fireflies. There are dark everywhere trees on the sides for dark contrast and some detail.

This is a watercolor painting of Fireflies in a Meadow in landscape orientation. The top 2/3 is the sky at dusk going from indigo with stars and a crescent moon to purple with clouds to pink with smaller whispier clouds towards the horizon line. The bottom third is the meadow with a tree line at the horizon line. The meadow is filled with fireflies. Towards the bottom are bigger closer ones and they get smaller as the move towards the tree line.
Twenty minutes of fireflies in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, near the famous Elkmont campground. The yellow sparkles are Photinus carolinus, the synchronous fireflies that have become a tourism sensation, and the greenish trails are the more enigmatic "blue ghost" Phausis reticulata.
