my homemade sculpey Rishi, he is a long-time comfort character of mine. it is nice to have a tiny version of him.
Rishi is a Bhoomian, a humanoid from my galaxy that has a symbiotic relationship with algae. it makes their keratin turn greenish.
Rishi runs a cafe, but he enjoys dancing in his free time.

Hand mockup of a pair of trousers (yes I mockup doll clothes because I wasn't sure I really understood pattern directions) can you spot my Massive mistake ?

Because I sure didn't untill I had already sewn the channel for the waist elastic

I ain't unpicking it either because that's what mockups are for - learnin.

Collage - "Time Alone 7"

Toothy tall rectangle in duotone: black, white, and butterscotch yellow-orange. Background up top is a faint floral and diamond wallpaper pattern from the 1930s. Down below are some random brush strokes and squiggles. Three copies of a 19th century china doll in a black dress with a white ruffle and dark hair face the viewer and each other in three-quarter view. But they each have an extra copy of their own head superimposed and turned in the opposite direction so each looks two-faced. The center-most and largest doll has bent forks for arms and hands. A pyramidal pattern of little triangles, laid over her, with their center-most points up suggest a long gown. Each triangle says “Fluffy Angel Pie” upside down. Two large wedges of meringue pie on elliptical plates below the triangles suggest large feet for this main doll. Two smaller, rounded copies of the same pie photo float in the air near the two dolls at left and right.

    “Crab Town 6” - Tall rectangle with thick blue and green paint swirls and two stacked round yellow buttons for a sun make a child-like hilly landscape. Seven crabs of varied size descend from the paint sky in an “S” shape. On the paint grass: a supine blonde fashion doll in a long blue ruffled dress.     “Time Alone 2”

    Long rectangle in bright green with light tooth texture. Three rows each with doubled black over white diamond shapes that decrease in size as the view descends. Three in top row, four in center row, & five in bottom row. Details over these: three tiny metal butterflies, five white watch faces, and four torn scraps of text from ads. (No other colors, just duotone effects.) Butterfly shape repeats in large faint “chalk” marks on the green background.

    Tall rectangle with fibrous orange,red, and yellow texture. Curly-haired, legless 1950s doll in center copied and flipped to give blurred, twin appearance. They are in smaller tall dark brown pinched rectangle. Arranged above and below: two large gold metal rings, each twisted into hat-like ellipses. Extra small ring up top holds green glass cabochon. Below: a small lime cut in half. Trim at center left and right: two more small rings, each around a patterned white plate and green napkin.
