The grapheneOS team has stated repeatedly that the fairphone does not meet the requirements for GrapheneOS, they are currently working with a hardware partner to bring GrapheneOS to a (supposedly) new device. This is most likely not fairphone because
Fairphone is not selling worldwide, the annoucement mentioned a worldwide partner
Fairphone does not mean the Hardware rwquirements and (arguably more importantly because it is harder to fix) the software requirements. They do not have timely enough upgrades.

I think the OP meant that Israel is well known for mass surveilance inside and outside their state. So he is implying that everytime a firm gets sold to an israel investor the goverment will intervene and expand their surveilance network.
That's not what i meant to say, taking a closer look and trying to undestand it all is obbiously good.
But graphs have a big glance value and should be able to convey key information at a glance.
While i agree with the sentiment v-bucks are not 100% profit. People buy v-bucks for skins, these skins have to be produced by people who typically don't do that for free. And for ongoing sells of v-bucks fortnite has to get regular updates, one of the selling points of fortnite are the regular seasons and events, these are not free to produce. Obviously they do all of this to increase profit but 100% profit ratio is a strange take.
The rip by annas archive is 170kbps ogg for most of the songs (most meaning listening probability, not quantifying numbers.).
Furthermore 96kbps is more than enough for casual listeners. You may hear a difference but most people wont care tbh.
It seems like a weird point to bring up. How often do y'all convert your measurements? It's not even a daily thing. If I'm measuring something, I either do it in inches, or feet, rarely yards. I've never once had to convert feet into miles, and I can't imagine I'm unique in this. When I have needed to, it's usually converting ...
I do stuff like this all the time. Like if i bought a pool i wanted to estimates how much water it needes to estimate all the follow up costs, if i am cooking something i often switch between kg and g, if am measuring things i switch between cm, m and mm depending on what i am currently measuring all the time. E.g. i needed a new working plate in my kitchen, i wanted it precut to fit exactly in after moving some cabinets while still aligning the sink. The whole space was measured in meters, but the individual cuts were all measured in milimeters. I was able to do all of that in 5 minutes with one piece of paper for sketching and my head. (And it fitted down to the milimeter in the end).
Or e.g. in my last appartment we had an weird electrical water heater that didn't work that well. I was able to easily estimate the extra cost it procured by estimating water volume, temperature difference and electrical price, most annoying par was converting from joule to calories because it is not base 10. (would have taken >3years so not worth it for me)

Australia has high rates of adoption for rooftop solar. The interconnection is easy and permitting happens over night. And best of all, none of the fears associated with wide spread solar have materialized into real world problems.
Unable to predict electricity use and generation on a large scale, leading to unstable electricity network (e.g. peak generation at 12 o clock while everynone is working).
Should you be allowed to have children if you are a known carrier of some bad but not inmediatly deadly risk gene like fragile x, chorea huntington, mucoviszidosis, diabetes 1 (let's ignore the worsening of fragile x and chorea huntingtion across generations for a moment)? Should you be allowed to have children if you have trisomie 21, or some other mental disability? If you say no i think you are ableist and can't comprehend that people with special needs are still people that can be happy and can have desires.
If you say yes why can't two cousins have a child? What if they have two forms of birth control and just want to fuck? What if they are the same sex? I my experience most people who are against two cousins having sex do not give a flying fuck about some theoretical chile but just think it's icky. Which is a fair feeling you are allowed to have but should not be basis for a law.

Tbf gold demand is artifical, total mined gold by humanity is approx 27m³, used in electronics is 1m³, rest is jewelry and storage. Value of gold essentially boils down to "it has value and is pretty"
So there are infinite prime numbers,
there exists only one even prime number,
the odds of an prime number beeing odd is 100% ((∞-1)/∞)=100%)
2 is an prime number, therefore 2 is odd and is divisble by itself aka 2.

You made the first blatant statement. Furthermore you make claims that seem very dubious and then write feel free tonfact check me? Why not post a source?
And pregnancy rate of 80% isn't very good to begin with but it drops to only 50% after 3 years? Thats abysmal and to suggest to get such a procedure as a temporary solution is kinda insane. Vasectomies should be treated as a final solution.
I was not the one who wrote the 50% statement, but no worries.
Your statement was,"Fully reversable if you ever want kids," and that is simply not true. I am not saying that i know better than licensed physicans i am saying that the actual data that you just posted agrees with me. A vasectomy may be reversible, if you decide for it in less than three years it may even be likely. But if you decide for a vasectomy you should not consider that as an viable option because the chances are not very good.
Conpared to the OPs statements, a vasectomy is a far better choice
That heavily depends, if you are in a relationship and 100% to someday have kids a vasectomy is the worse choice cause it lowers your chances of achieving that dream (according tou your sources after just three years 30-50%...).
the woman suffer a full surgery with abdominal pains and scar tissue with a tubal ligation. Yeah, okay buddy.
This i a strawman argument and you should know that. Not once have i argued for a tubual ligitation as a viable alternative for a reversible procedure. I am glad to discuss everything but let's try to maintain some good discussion conventions and not just imagine new arguments.
Edit: from your source "Even if sperm return, pregnancy rates are lower (30-70%) and depend on partner’s fertility as well."
So one in three people wont be able to conceive in the realistic best case scenario.
Most of your arguments are anti germany and anti capitalist/establishment and not anti EU though? Most of these would still hold up without the existence of the EU.
So what?; I just do not see how your arguments are valid. You do not like the EU but you also do not like the member states (and tbf. your arguments against Germany are not without reason). If entities that you do not like form an organization you won't like it. That is not really surprising. But collectively the EU and it's member states hold more power than alone. It is a (in my opinion flawed in execution) democratic entity so many of the things you do not like about the EU are still something the member states agreed upon and therefore the will of the member states. Since all the member states are democracies the direction of the EU should roughly align with the consensus of the people (lots of caveats here.).
The European Parliament gets voted by the people. While i wish that it hat more power (especially in the legislative branch), it is still an powerful institution inside the EU and of the several main pillars. Therefore the EU is not anti-democratic in the sense that it does not get voted on. Yes the Spitzenkandidat system is a total disaster and the commission does not get voted on directly but appointed by the member states (also democratic institutions). The article you posted has a valid critic but acts like direct voting and appointment is the only way democracy works when that is simply not true.
unaccountable
partly true, mostly same arguments as my point before.
undermines national sovereignty of its member states
If a member state decides to join the EU it has to abide by several rules, this obviously undermines national sovereignity. But every agreement and pact includes several rules.
serves (typically US) capital at the cost of human dignity
True, but happens the same way in the member states itself, in germany the CDU is blatantly corrupt but still gets voted for by the people. I can't understand why but that is part of the democratic progress.
(I have read the rest of your comment, please do not take me not answering the wrong way, i simply currently do not have more time right now. Thanks for providing sources.)
Depends what you are asking. Do I think that the members of the axis powers had an advantage that they would not have had if they were alone? Yes.
Do I think that the axis power were bad insofar that I think that they were wrong in their whole doing? Yes
Do I think that the axis powers members (especially Hitler Germany) would have been bad even if they did not form an alliance? Obviously.
The EU and its member states act like this vis-a-vis non-aligned states, while other implemsntations of democracy exist this is hypocritical at best.
I thought about this and how to refute it, and in some ways i think you are right. The EU critiques other states that are undemocratic and hostile to their people (from a western/eu centric point of view) while they e.g. do not critique the house of lord system in the UK or the shitshow that is the American voting system (at least no as directly as the critique states that are "opposed" to the EU). This stems from one of the bigger flaws of the EU that they are very cuddly with the US while the US proves time and time again to be not a friend in best of times and outright hostile at worst of times. Something that was more subtle in the past but is blatant right now (and for quite some years tbh.).
Member states are either sovereign or they are not.
Entity sovereignty has many forms and is not binary. This is true for states as it is for people. The EU member states agreed on their rules and that they do follow along as long as they are members of the EU, if they do not like it they are free to leave. But as long as you are part of a group with a set of rules you should try to follow them. Furthermore member states are all able to try to change the rules. Admittedly not all have the same political weight. I think that it's also important that all the members follow these rules, insofar i am happy that the blatant favorism the UK got over many years has ended. Even though i am sad by the result and the blatant misinformation campaign that resulted in the brexit vote.
In another comment chain you were complaining that comrades were using examples of single countries, now you say it's fine or at least not a strong critique of the EU if member states do it too.
I am arguing that it's a bit weird (not in an insulting way, do not know a better word) to complain about the EU as if it is the source of the problems when the problems that perpetuate the EU often originate in the member states. In the other command chain i was complaining that the other commentor acted like all the failing in Germany are the fault of the EU or disproof the use of the EU while they are seperate things that influence each other.
So yes i do think that the US centric view of the EU is quite problematic, I do not think that it is a problem that exists because the EU exists. On the other hand i do think that the untransparent legislative branch of the EU is a real problem that exists only because the EU exists and allows goverments to push for legislation that is unpopular in their respective countries.
Or in other words what i am trying to say, critique for the EU is okay when it's either something directly caused by the EU or greatly exaggerated by the EU and misuse of the EU systems. Homelessness in Germany does not fall under that category. (I know that the other commentor also used other examples, some of them are legit. I choose not to respond to them because from their commenting style and in my opinion hostile comments i did not think that it would result in a fruitful discussion.)
Welcome to Lemmygrad. We're happy to help point you in the right direction if you're genuinely interested in how liberal democracies work.
I am sometimes visiting this space here and I have to say, while i agree with much of the critique that exists here i am disagreeing with the conclusions. E.g. i agree with the Spiegel here, neither trump nor Putin do have Europes interest in mind and should be trusted. And many of the discussion against "outsiders" from lemmygrad are downright hostile which is why I usually do not comment here.
the other major parties are also corrupt so it's not like there's any real choice
While this is a bit offtopic i do think that the CDU/FDP/AFD are the worst offenders, under the last government there were some great thinks happening before the FDP torpedod most of it (not 100% their fault but at least 80%). The other democratic parties are magnitudes better with their propaganda and misinformation.

One of the advantages of CachyOS ist the compilation with the x86-64-v3, x86-64-v4 and Zen4 instruction set. If your cpu does not support any of these sets your theoretical performance gains will be smaller since you do not get the advantage of these tailored compilations. The other things Cachy does like increased swappiness etc. should still work.
Check the wiki to see if your cpu supports these sets.

As an Simsplayer i would be delighted by a good remaster (sims 5 would also be fine tbh)
I still hqvr to restart every 3 ingame hours cause every action will take 50 extra seconds. There are so many performance problems that occur over long game sessions. Plus lack of open neighbourhood is my biggest pet peeve that could be solved with a good remaster.
Multiplayer support would be nice but S4MP is already so good working that i do not want ea to ruin that.
Höchstwahrscheinlich ist ja einfach was dazwischen gekommen.)
like the brain is literally encased in the body so how can it be separate? like if you go around licking lamp posts you're going to pick up some germ that's gonna make you feel like crap and you get insomnia or fever and your brain will definitely be impacted. and so you'll have short temper and that'll get you into trouble.
Something i have thought about for some time. Do we only have one consciousness? Like if you literally split your brain in half via operation suddenly you got two brain halves tha't can not communicate with each other in any way. Do you now have 2 personalities and consciousness? If yes, why don't you have them before? Maybe you always have two but they are just in agreement. And why stop at two?
There are some interviews with siamese twins (the teacher sisters for example) and it's so interesting to see how they talk. They finish each other sentences which is natural i guess but they also say "ehh" when the other one doesn't know a word. It's like a single person talking. I am not arguing they are distinctive persons. Just some random thoughts.
In a student flat i once visited they had to hit a switch when using the stove and after i believe 15 minutes it would turn off and you would have to hit the switch again.
I would argue, that the reason why the cat choose this spot is partially because it is the deepest spot, eliminating the uncomfortable slope it would have if it sat 1 meter to the right. Thus there is a causation, the roof shape causes the cat to sit at this spot.
Contact info gets hashed in a clever way which doesn't send your info (although i guess phone number hashes could be brute forced?)
Meta data is also not available. They have no way to know who you are talking to. The only info they have is that you logged ij with a ip at a time. I believe they can't even reliable track how many messages you send. Even with a compromised server most of the magic happens in the open source client side app so that they can't gather very much. I understand your concerns about popular centralized services but i really believe that they are unfound with signal.
