I have filmed both inside in the studio and outside on location, and that creates some very different videos.

If you were the producer of my YouTube show, would you focus on more inside studio episodes or more outside on location episodes?

    The window “stoplight” controls being inside the sidebar element (only when convenient) is one of the most nonsensical design decisions. It’s made clearly silly when any app lets you hide the sidebar (basically all apps with sidebars).

    @mikemccaffrey so, this year my dog has turned from unconcerned to quite terrified about fireworks. He is about to turn 8. Fireworks is not my happy place.

    @inventaire @Codeberg @forgejo my only gotcha so far is that lack of use of an sshkey for a couple of weeks invalidates it and you have to start all over again. I was working on my laptop and then sick and then this morning went to my office where my real computer is and boom, access denied. Annoying.

    That being said, very happy with the switch to codeberg otherwise.

    For four digit numbers (not years), do you use a thousand separator (comma or period or space)? Obviously we all do for five digits and above. But four?

    More and more, I’m using my Mac. And less and less, I’m using my iPhone. Maybe I’m the only one, but I don’t really pine for iPhone apps. I don’t shop around or check out new ones. What I want is more dedicated Mac apps.

    The Mac is where I am.

    @louie I’ve gone off developing for iOS. I’m more interested in macOS apps now. That being said, SwiftUI is a buggy nightmare on macOS and creates apps that just feel slightly wrong to native Mac users.

    And then if you add the nightmare of Electron apps… sigh

    I wish I could point to new great Mac-assed apps.

    The lack of an economy for surviving as a Mac developer certainly does not help. Thanks App Store and the race to the bottom.

    @Vivaldi @tekphloyd you forgot the “follow system choice”. It isn’t up to the website to decide. If the OS is in dark mode use dark mode, if light mode, use that.
