Here's a part of the article I'm working on as a "sneak peak" if you will.

What about search engines and web browsers, how do they work? While there have been a number of search engines launched before Google, which launched in 1996, it's one of the few that are still accessible and it's the most well known. Google's search engine works by searching a database of data they have collected from the internet. In order to collect said data to search, Google created bots to scan websites page by page and follow links on each page and scan those pages, etc. These bots are called spider bots or web crawlers, which are programs designed to scan and collect data on every single website available on the World Wide Web*. *The World Wide Web refers to the part of the Internet that you can access through a web browser. These websites have www at the beginning of their URL, short for World Web Web. This part of the URL is not necessarily required to reach a website today, but it used to be! Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the show that aired from 1997 to 2003 popularized the term "googling/googled" in Season 7's episode "Help". I'm 99.9% positive this was purchased advertising from Google themselves to increase use of their engine over competitors like Yahoo. A web browser is a program used to access the World Wide Web. If you look at the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) in the address bar of your web browser when visiting a website or page on a website, it will show you the location of that website or page just like files on your computer.     I'm so tired of seeing AI models literally on every platform. Please, for the love of the gods, learn a skill.

    I logged back into Codecademy to continue learning JavaScript and of course they added an "AI Learning Assistant". AI is very useful but NOT for replacing human thinking or jobs... like technical support. PAY PEOPLE FOR FUCKS SAKE.
