I found it hiking near Lethbridge, Alberta years ago, just found it again while going through old boxes. The wavy lines look kind of organic, but I don't know about the rest.

A broken obloid chunk of gray rock with a cracked-white coates shard sticking out of one side. Wavy striations weave through the rock, stickong out perpendicular to the encased white shars. Sitting on a smooth concrete surface.

If that crack goes all the way around. Give it a good wack with a hammer on the seam and it should pop open for you to show you whatever is hidden in the middle. (If there is a fossil in there). Often times it's just empty but you never know. If it looks like it contains something take it to a specialist instead of trying to clean it up yourself.

Hope it works out for you. I use it mostly for bullet points with tabbed in children. But if your looking for more long form you can switch the mode by clicking your mouse in the margin so your not inputting text then pressing T then D . you get out of the mode again with the same shortcut 👍

I think they're going to use it as they're base to build their AI tools on top of so that it connects all the cables and stuff using reason as like a VST and then you can go in and adjust it later to your own liking if you want to tweak it.

I had the original buds. Good luck with yours. Since mine are now e-waste I figured my next pair should have replaceable batteries. Went with fairfone buds, and they have very outdated Bluetooth so i cant watch videos with synced audio. But at least I can in theory have them for the rest of my life...as long as they keep selling the batteries which are proprietary but look off the shelf. 🫩 .... I have not had good luck as far as Bluetooth buds are concerned.

He didn't HAVE to do anything to be fair. Biblically it was a gift of love (as messed up as that is).And yeah perhaps there was another way, but that's the way he chose. If he slaughtered a pig, you'd probably be like why didn't he offer his own son? Doesn't really have anything to do with omnipotence. Sacrifice was common in those days with goats etc. So it matches the culture of the day. Also kind of mirrors and reflects on the Abraham story too.

Also biblically God, Jesus and the holy spirit are technically one. Not really sure how that changes anything but is interesting to think about.

Ads are actually pretty incredible. If no one knows your brand, all it takes is money to tell em. It's like a short cut compared to having a good product and word of mouth.

Its essentially like a cold call, but you know the audience is at least generally interested in your topic because of targeting. All that data that is being taken and sold from you, is being sold to avertizers.

Pay Google for getting on search on Google and youtube.

Pay meta to get ads on Insta and Facebook.

If you spend $500 to sell a $3000 product, it's a no brainer. Ita basically printing money when it works. So yeah, companies are paying when the results match. But also when they are testing the waters to see if its worth it to them.

While this is a pretty cool initiative and as far as im aware a first in the industry, I have the inears and the Bluetooth audio does not sync with video and I bought them this year(I didn't think to check because bro, weive in the future). I dont know what Bluetooth this one has, but the upgrade doesn't upgrade its Bluetooth.

Also FYI I got the in ears because the battery is replaceable. However only after getting them did I learn the battery is propriety which is bullshit. It looks like a common cell. But I guess if they discontinue the battery then I'm outta luck anyway.

I'd not recommend them, but I've got em now so will continue to use them.

Are there any users, big or small who make videos on any platform? I'd like to get into video creation in the future, currently I only make half-assed videos. I do. Ive done it for my own channel (yt 30,000+ channel size) and i produce for companies too.

While im not the biggest creator by far. I have learned a lot about video creation and people pay me very well to create for them. This is the secret sauce:

  1. Thumbnail and title are everything (unless your doing shortform). You want a max of 3 elements on a thumbnail. 2 objects and text for example. The goal is raise a question in the viewers mind then pull them in further with the title.

  2. Video should start answering the question immediately but ask an even more interesting question before you answer it fully.

And 3. ALWAYS tell a story (in your own way) basic idea is

I want (something)

But (obstacle)

So ( im gonna try this)

If you follow those steps you are miles ahead of most creators.

Ive personally been working on this movie ive cut into bitesize chunks(1-2mins) that will be released daily. I spend a lot of my time on lemmy. But havent really seen a video creator shine here. Seems more comics based. Im wondering if video content 'fits' here. When ive finished shooting it i may try posting here just to see how it feels. But it will at most be an experiment. Also where would i post it? A brand new sublemmy? Its an interesting little idea ive had in my head for a while. I think its a question the community needs to answer.

We'll see if it comes to fruition. In the end, whats the harm? If no one sees it, its not embarrasing...because no one saw it.

Dont worry about people making the same stuff. All musicians write about love too. But your personal angle is what makes it unique. Be you, instead of trying to emulate someone elses flavor. A lot of twitch for instance is high energy, but i like watching a low energy guy play the game im interested in.

Subs dont really matter as much as they used to because majority is using homepage to recommend them content. Also just because subs are high doesnt give your next video the right to have high views. You still must create content they want.

If you wanna make political activism, make that your only topic and focus. If you are talking about important topics in a tone of voice and angle people are interested in your audience will find you. Have a look at garrys economics for an interesting take on political videos.

Flyers are fine, but if your target audience is using youtube, the home page will be all the flyer you need. If you are making good content that is relevant, you will get traction. But making good content is the hard part. "Yeah but xyz creator is making shit and getting millions of views" sure. The world is not fair, get over it. Make your stuff better.

If you live on a tiny island and the politics are local, your maximum audience may only be 6k people. But your impact can still be massive.

Rambling is fine if you wanna spend hours editing. But if you can craft a story the way i laid out in my previous comment, the video will nearly edit itself.

Stay tight to topic, be vulnerable and your audience will connect.

Long interviews are more podcast format. They can also be engaging, but its hard for them to be shared. They do however make for great short content if you take bites out.

I dont think creativity is better outside youtube. Sure maybe in cinema. But if someone is poppin off on bitchute and not also posting to youtube, they are wasting their potential. Unless their content is purely anti youtube.

Wearing a helmet and a hat while biking

I always want to wear a baseball cap while wearing a helmet so I can have it when I arrive at place so I can offset my helmet hair. But my helmet is really uncomfortable with a bb cap in the way. That pip on the top of a baseball cap is dangerous under a helmet. Its essentially saying, 'hey coordinate all the shock right here' like a little pin hammer.
Get yourself a cycling cap for under the helmet. Way more comphy too.

But yeah id go with the hook it to your belt loop. Maybe with a carabiner so you dont stress the snapback
