Funny episode during the kids Chanukah party at my synagogue a few weeks ago.
Having converted to Judaism in a Reform synagogue, all the studies about praying focused on communal prayers. I had a chat with my Rabbi to learn more about personal praying outside the synagogue. His reply was: just come to service and the prayers will come to you… as someone who converted for intellectual and philosophical reasons, I was stunned. Any comment from fellow Jews?

Installing a new app on Linux is 10% running sudo dnf install pkg1 and 90% resolving dependency issues 😏

@nixCraft it’s not 2005 anymore. Dnf and Apt both resolve dependencies.

time. I am , living in Berlin, I’m a Cloud PO for a German consulting firm. I like to play in my spare time, and watch (F1, WEC).
At home I currently use GhostBSD on my personal thinkpad, Linux Mint on the family/living room mini-pc, and stock SteamOS on my Steam Deck. First Linux distro: Mandrake 7.1; first BSD: FreeBSD 4.7. Played with pretty much every OS I could find, from Slackware to Plan9.

I speak , , some and basic .
